Found this nice Indian restaurant whilst working all the way up here and was pleasantly surprised. On first looks the restaurant looked old and dated , I walked in and no one was there to greet us and after shouting out "hello" 3 or 4 times someone came. We weren't expecting much after this but wow the food was very nice and very spicy which we like. The Naan was fresh , my Saag Aloo was really tasty and that was probably the most hot and spicy Jalfrezi I've had in Scotland. My work mate said his madras was also good and he loved the chicken pakoras. It's a very long way from my house but if I'm up here again I'll definitely come back! ????????
We had a really good meal at this restaurant. Friendly service an good honest food. Coming from Australia was especially satisfying to have a proper Indian food meal. Very tasty. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit
The food was fabulous! Please it you are ever in Thurso visit this wonderful place????The staff was very friendly and did an amazing job, felt at home.
Decent food. I got a cheese pizza, which was greasy and the cheese like plastic. Also, don’t know what their food hygiene is like as there was what looked like chicken tikka sauce in my pizza, it was like bright red, definitely not tomato sauce. Wouldn’t go back
First visit, very impressed with food, cleanliness, a very friendly/polite gentleman served us. Will definitely use again and would definitely recommend
Didn't call in advance, ordered at the counter and waited. Very quick short wait for my takeaway, the staff taking orders were very helpful, polite and generally great. Food was still nice and toasty hot by the time i got home despite being a 12 mile drive, the food was cooked beautifully, very fresh, very flavoursome, just brilliant, just what i needed for a friday night ????
Good food, friendly staff.
Very tasty food and at good value for money! If you like a korma, the chandani is excellent.
