Visited here for the first time last week, The place is very small and we were sat right next to the bar at the front door which wasent ideal with servers bottoms in ur face often as they collect drinks. Pizza was good but pasta was bland which was disappointing. Only once we were served and food on the table did we notice
Another family come in and they children were given child menus, I had 2 children with me but was not offered a child’s menu so we had the kids share of the normal menu.
A very friendly local eatery. Good service and excellent Margaritas! Visited twice and I'd say the risotto is as good as I've had anywhere - the mushroom risotto was deeply flavoured. Had steak for my main both times (filet and ribeye): good quality meat, well seasoned and accurately cooked, served with well executed standard sides. The by the glass Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was really good at the price and went well with our steaks.
My only caveats are that the house (by the glass) Pinot Grigio isn't up to much, wet with little discernable flavour, and our Tiramisu was pleasant, well presented but a bit lacklustre (more booze needed here!)
Overall, well worth a visit and I'll go back when I'm in Lanark again.
Very friendly staff , great atmosphere , fantastic food and the wine went down very well too.
Our 1st time visiting and definitely won't be our last. Loved it, great wee place. Can't wait to visit again.

Great food, good service, but people were too loud.
We booked a reservation and were seated quickly. The food was fair but I must say the service from the staff members especially the male staff member that was attending was very good. He asked us if all was alright and managed everything well.
