Had a beautiful afternoon tea with my husband and toddler, fresh and tasty! Recommended as a treat!
They also do breakfast, lunch and specials and the menu is great if you don't want the afternoon tea but I do rate it highly. Very accommodating for kids.
Truly fabulous tea room. I’d always much rather visit a small business than a large chain and Poynton Tea Rooms doesn’t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, amazingly good service and perfect homemade food. The Welsh Rarebit was absolutely fabulous and the young man that served us was super polite and efficient. Also the pot of tea was just lovely with a proper crockery tea pot. Overall we had a delightful lunch at this credit to Poynton’s thriving community.
Fab buffet for 40 people. Delivered on time, was fresh, tasted great and the cakes were beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Helen catered for our special celebration of life for my grandma, who had passed during covid. We had a family and friends party in her honour. The food was fantastic, beautifully prepared and presented. We had a full high tea spread, including: sandwiches, cakes, fruit platter, scones with jam and clotted cream. It was scrumptious!! Thank you Poyton Tea Room.
Called in on the off chance today and what a bloody good find this place was. My mum had the cheese on toast and I had a prawn sandwich which came with crisps and salad and coleslaw and a pot of tea. Everything was so so fresh, the prawns weren’t those tiny little stingy things that you get in most places.
You could tell everything was made with love, great service too. Will definitely return here next time I am in the area and have already recommended it to friends and on my Instagram.
