Wonderful restaurant inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The smoked salmon was delicious. Tasted very fresh and the capers and lemon paired with it was very nice. The lentil soup was very good. The Angus burger was horribly overcooked. I usually have a burger medium well. They cook their burgers to well done and over cooked it to the point of being a rock. It was very dry and they should reconsider cooking it to Medium well. Other than that, everything else was delightful.
We only had drinks here, the vibe was quiet, no music but good for conversation.
I asked for a special mocktail but just got the house one ????????‍♀️
The drink was a 6/10 I wanted something sweet but it was not really sweet.
My husband & I was having breakfast in this Potus Bar after an overnight stay in the hotel.
Breakfast - food was amazingly fresh and delish with many choices/selections. Services were very pleasant, welcoming & polite. The atmosphere was superb and relax for a quiet breakfast. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Came here for Christmas dinner £75pp. The food tasted fantastic however the portion size was insulting. 2 slices of turkey, 2 sprouts, 1/10th parsnip, 1 new potato cut in half & 1 ball of stuffing. The dessert was cold and again small, the custard and brandy cream came in shot glass size. The shame is that the food was actually tasty but the price and portion size ruined the enjoyment. In total £400 spent and still left hungry.
The place was nice, good atmosphere and good food, the staff was very friendly. The Security/Porter guy at the front door was welcoming and made sure we was looked after, our waitress Marianne was lovely and gave great service and I fully enjoyed what the chef made.
This is a brand new gem of a restaurant and we were so lucky to have discovered it. I came here for a dinner with friends on a Thursday night and had an absolute blast. Beautiful interiors coupled with live music by the bar, creating a relaxing ambiance. Excellent steak and wine followed by excellent desserts. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need and I couldn’t have asked for a better night. I would highly recommend this place.
We went for the new year's eve 79£/person. Awful service. We asked for cocktails that never came. Starters and main were reasonable. Desserts were terrible. Waiters were rude. A restaurant to avoid.
Decent place for a good Fish & Chips (and a couple of beers)...
I've been to the restaurant twice and it's been nice and quiet, which is an added bonus. The hotel itself is also a decent place to stay.
