Had a lovely stay. I would have preferred a Seaview option, but it wasn't available for 2 nights in a row. Didn't have the option to book 2 separate rooms for the 2 separate nights. Which we would have preferred to do. Also, our room was described as luxury double. However, it was very nice but definitely not luxury. The bedside lamp near the window was broken and not working, the bed was 2 three foot single beds pushed together. The bathroom door would not shut properly, and it also made a very loud noise when opening or closing. Obviously, this wasn't ideal as in the middle of the night, the noise caused me to wake up because someone had nipped to the toilet. To describe the room as luxury, I felt that the fixtures and fittings were below par. Also, on the description of the room, it states that there is use of a hot tub. However, on the information pack, it does say that please use darker towels for the hot tub, all OK. But there are no signs of hot tub access anywhere inside the building or on the information pack in your room. Believe me, you can not find the way into the hot tub where on earth is the hot tub entrance! This was a deciding factor for our choice of Poseidons Inn, and we couldn't access it. Very very disappointed

We ended up at Poseidon’s Inn after another hotel cancelled our reservation. What a delight. This spot is a “self-catering” hotel. There is only staff on the premises from 9-5. Room cleaning only upon request. It seems to have been recently renovated and that some final touches are still in process. ||It sits on a golf course on the ocean. It is a quick walk down to the East Beach Esplanade for beach walking, food and fun. There are also many take away restaurants in the area. ||This little Lossiemouth is a hidden gem. This property is extremely affordable and a great value. It was clean, and comfortable.
Just back from a couple of nights visiting relatives in Lossiemouth. Stayed this time in the Poseidon's Inn and was happy to do so. Clearly a lot of money has gone into to converting the building. The room was large, clean and modern. The bathroom was also large. Television had Netflix which we didn't use but a useful extra. Meals are available at a discount next door at the Golf View or a continental breakfast can be delivered to your room if ordered the day before. Check in was via a keybox and checkout just a matter of dropping the keys off in a box. Will definately be using this again for our next visit. Great views over the golf course from our room
Managed to get a room here last minute night before Lossie Fest. Easy check-in, clean and spacious room with great views of the sea and planes!
No on-site facilities (which we new of), but recommended Golf View (next door) for food and drinks and Beach View for breakfast. Both minutes walk away!
Rooms have been nicely renovated. Lovely big TV. Heating was perfect. Check in was easy. Plenty of car parking. We stayed two nights and absolutely loved our stay. We went next door to Golf View Hotel for dinner. Food is great and reasonably priced. Great value for money!
We had a lovely weekend away here. We had originally booked for one night but loved the atmosphere and the surrounding area so much we asked if we could extend our stay and the staff we so happy to oblige us.
The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. You have a little kettle and fridge in your room so you can have a cuppa and look out across the amazing views of the Moray Firth. Even our dog enjoyed the wave watching.
If you're looking for a cosy, comfortable and quiet stay with lovely friendly staff and where you can bring your dog I highly recommend the Poseidon's Inn. We enjoyed it so much we've booked another weekend.
We had 2 sea view rooms, very clean rooms, plenty towels for us. Views were amazing, self serve check in was very easy, and friendly member of staff in the morning asking if we enjoyed our stay. Would def return and recommend xx
