Got to be one of the most expensive car parks in Cornwall, £2.30 an hour when others are charging 50p, really?!
I've never reviewed a car park before so here goes. There were car sized spaces and we parked in one of them......it was so great, what a good idea it is and one I would definitely recommend ???? Actually the meters weren't working so it was free......yaaaaay???? it's across the road from the beach.........it's a car park people!!! ????
Nice new parking machines that now take cards. Eye watering £10 to park all day. The toilets on the car park take 20p coins only, so bear this in mind if you are staying for any length of time.
This is a beautiful beach with a little river that flows into the sea. The river is a great place for the kids to play in. There's also a great little tuck shop that sells brilliant coffee.
Good size carpark, which felt safe, and it's easy to pay with card, cash, or via an app. There are public toilets on site, and it's close to the beach.
The Porthcothan Car Park can only be described as a Car Park, nothing special, parking bays a tad narrow designed just to jam as many mugs Cornwall Council can rip-off on a busy day. Prices have escalated beyond reason in recent years and now 40p for a pee in the smelly loo.....
