Best KPortal Reviews

We were greeted immediately upon our arrival by a friendly and welcoming gentleman. He asked us if where we would like to sit. Outside on a sunny day was a great option. But we decided to stay inside, as the doors were open and it was nice and cool.
The service was a little slow throughout our time here. But we did not mind. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Each dish was carefully balanced and was a taste sensation.
We particularly enjoyed both starters. The mains were rich and decadent. The thousand leaf fries were so moreish and our favourite was the eclair dessert. The chocolate crisp on top was so delicate and smooth.
As our evening went on the restaurant was full and the atmosphere was chilled and there was a nice hun of chatter around us.
We enjoyed the shisoka cocktail.
I would highly recommend visiting this neighbourhood gem.
Fed & Watered is a neighborhood eatery and bar in Acton, W3. The restaurant serves up delicious food, delightful drinks, and a feeling of being a little bit spoilt.
The menu at Fed & Watered changes regularly, but you can always expect to find classic British dishes with a modern twist. Some of the most popular dishes include the fish and chips, the steak and ale pie, and the Sunday roast. The restaurant also has a great selection of cocktails, beers, and wines.
The atmosphere at Fed & Watered is relaxed and welcoming. It's the perfect place to come for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience.
Overall, Fed & Watered is a great place to eat in Acton. The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. If you're looking for a good place to eat in Acton, I highly recommend Fed & Watered.
In our recent visit to this restaurant, we were served two bowls of ketchup and mayonnaise, each containing a spoon. However, after 10 minutes, while we were still enjoying our meal, the staff returned and informed us, "If you desire more sauce, take it from the containers." They then promptly took the containers away, without giving us an option. This practice seemed unsanitary, as the containers might have been shared across tables, potentially exposing them to previous customers' germs. It would have been preferable if they had addressed this issue from the outset.
Furthermore, the salt and pepper shakers were noticeably greasy and bore the marks of previous customers' fingerprints.
The food itself had an acceptable quality and nice taste, but the pricing exceeded our expectations.
Unfortunately, the staff in this establishment seemed to rush us with their forced laughter, giving us the impression of "eat quickly and leave!"
Considering the options available in the area, one can find much better food and service for the same price.
On a positive note, the exterior wall painting is interesting, and the presence of flower pots adds a pleasant touch to the ambiance.
The main meals were just okay, nothing exceptional for the price. The flavours were, sadly....average. However! The oysters stole the show! They were the highlight of my meal, absolutely fantastic. On the downside, the seating was cramped, with chairs too close together, making it uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was meh, but those oysters were a standout.
Just got back from a few days in London and ate at Few and Watered on Wednesday evening… Start to finish- what an experience!
It’s small restaurant so has a really intimate atmosphere. Bethan was our waitress who was lovely. Craig made us some amazing cocktails and recommended a beautiful bottle of wine (pictured).
The food was absolutely outstanding! We had the scallops, steak tartar to start, followed by the pork belly and halibut, finishing with the honey panna cotta and brûlée tart. I can not remember the last time I ate this well!!
The food, the drinks, the service, all of it was outstanding.
We went on a Wednesday night and it was fairly busy so I’d recommend booking! Can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in London.
Poet’s is a lovely spot. The people running it are friendly and the atmosphere is great. The new menu is small plates which are varied and delicious. 3 plates each is all you need to fill you up. The wine list and cocktails are perfect too. Great place.
We were visiting the area and they made what was one of the best (and most filling) sandwiches ???? I've ever had the pleasure of eating.
The service was great and the venue is also good for eating outside (though we didn't on this occasion)
If we're ever in the area again, we have to come back and you should give it a try too! ????
It's not too often that you want to rush off home after dining at a restaurant to write them an outstanding review…but my experience this afternoon at Fed & Watered in Acton was so deserving of this. I'm not entirely sure why I left it so long to visit this place considering I am a local, but I only have myself to blame. Never have I kicked myself more.
Firstly, I was tempted in by the endless list of people who told me it was so good, the reviews really do speak for themselves. So last week I thought I'd try their breakfast as this would surely be a good place to start. It is both rare and unique when somewhere can re-invent an English breakfast the way that they do with such creativity and flavour. To say I was hooked would be an understatement. It was sensational and really did take it to another level. The hash browns, smokey beans and delicious buttered bread alone are worth the visit alone.
Then it was onto lunch today to see if they could up their game and boy did they over deliver. To highlight any one course in particular would be impossible because they were all sensationally good. When you can say you ate the best the best gnocchi you had ever tasted, the best beef and the best 'lightest' sticky toffee pudding might seem to be exaggerating but it is simply the truth. Your chefs should be applauded because they are nothing short of first class.
Time stood still whilst eating several courses, it's so rare when you can say that there was no weak link. Back this up with an atmosphere that makes you feel so warm and welcomed it's only a win-win situation. And I haven't even mentioned the incredible Rioja they serve.
Chris and your team thank you for the sensational service that backed this up, great food is nothing if not delivered by people who are both passionate and enthusiastic. This shone through. You made the whole experience so much better for your wonderful service. It really was a privilege to experience this.
To have this kind of food experience on my doorstep makes me one of the lucky ones. I can't wait to take people back and spread the word. I can pay you no higher compliment.
You'd be crazy not to give this place a go.
