We've had food from here in the past which has been fine but last night ordered again, and it was horrible. Neither my husband or I ate our dinner. My egg fried rice was greasy and bland. The curry sauce was gloopy and tasted only of curry powder, no other flavour. My lemon chicken was slimy, the crispy chilli beef and chow mein were inedible.
Apparently the customer isn't always right as they then refused a refund which was most upsetting. We would have given them another chance had they offered to refund, but the attitude was the most off putting thing.
Ordered hot and sour soup, egg fried rice, curry sauce, lemon chicken, deep fried cispy chilli beef and chicken/prawn chow mein. The hot and sour soup was just about OK, but the rest of the food was bland and slimy. The crispy chilli beef was in no way crispy and did not taste of anything, not even chili. I took the food back the following evening, as was too late to take back the same evening. To be fair, was offered another meal, however we did not want this after the meal we just had. Was not 'possible' to give a refund. Sadly, I will not go back here again.
Another great dinner from Po Shing. I've had food from there a few times and never been disappointed. This time I had prawn toast, mushroom rice and beef satay. I asked for the satay to be mild opposed to the regular hot and spicy and this was done for me. Definitely feel like my eyes are bigger than my tummy. So much given in the portions I'll be having the leftovers tomorrow! Delicious. The shop inside hasn't changed in all the years I've been going, and while the decor may be a little dated, the food is really good. I was even given some pancake rolls free. Thank you Po Shing!
Ordered beef chow main it was absolutely disgusting .the beef didn't even look like beef and the gravy it was in was like water .I would never order from here again
Food was vile spring rolls was cold inside, curry sauce really watery. Salt and pepper chips awful normal chips with pepper on! Worse chinese I’ve ever tasted!!!

I have ordered from here before and had no problems but this time, it was the worst Chinese iv had. Everything was bland no flavour at all, rice, chow mein and duck chinese style all bland. Chicken balls had the tiniest bit of chicken in them it was just batter, prawn Crackers soggy, pancake rolls had grease dripping from them. Spent quite abit of money £50 for food between 4 of us so it was extremely disappointing. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again.
I used to go here several times a week in the 80s, but for various reasons I stopped. However, I popped by recently and the lady behind the counter hardly looked any older than I remember, and she and her husband are still as friendly. Ordered by telephone and drove straight over to collect it.
The food is just as nice, too. Piping hot, and plenty of it.
