Used this garage to do MOT on my car. Looks like they bring your car to another place for this. Left my car around the appointment time, but didn't hear from them for hours. When I personally came to collect the car, it was still somewhere in progress, so waited for another good half an hour. The car was returned completely broken. I can understand it. It can happen, but the list was huge. When I brought it to my known mechanics, they fixed the main issues, but were not able to fault half of the list and advised to use another MOT place next time. It took long time to get a second appointment for the repeated MOT. It passed, but with different, not related advisories. I would recommend to be careful with this place.
My car Range Rover sport been send to this garage by Rac warranty to check what’s the problem with it but without finding out what was the actual issue they asked me to change battery and pay £450 then only they can look further to check. But i said previous garage In N out auto centre did not mentioned anything about battery but they said fault with hydraulic system. But they said they don’t do it there so i had to take it to another garage and they even not charged single penny. But when i asked Pk garage that i will take it to another Swiftest motor ltd to do job with hydraulic. Instead they asked me to pay labour charge of diagnostics £135 . I think it is not fair as they asked a bit too much for just doing diagnostics check. I do not recommend this garage to anyone who wants to save money for good service.Rac warranty should not allow any car to them at all.
Now that they replied to my review at the bottom.. they did not said that they will charge for doing diagnostic. I did not asked me before doing any work with battery. Actually problem was with hydraulic system as In N Out autocentre bracknell said to me and they did not even charged single penny for doing diagnostics. They simply said they don’t work on hydraulics system so have to take somewhere else. I clearly mentioned to Pk garage that it has problem with hydraulic and they said yes they do work with hydraulic but never said will charge extra for diagnostic with £135 . No way now they just trying to be innocent.
By far, the worst customer service you could get.
I have purchased my vehicle with RAC warranty, and I went to this garage (it is RAC approved), as there was an issue on the suspension that bothered me.
At first, the mechanic seemed friendly and listened to what the issues are, so we agreed on the inspection and then go from there.
The issue starts when everything goes into the hands of the reception team and the people who manage your appointments, paperwork, working with RAC for warranty etc.
They called RAC to get the quote for a repair, thing which WE DID NOT AGREE ON. Not going to go into many details, and yes, they did the repair on the vehicle, but in the end, I have lost the warranty on this repair due to how they managed it with RAC, so I had to pay for it. Everything I guess for the sake of not losing this job to another garage I might have gone after the inspection.
Of course, they will try to justify as you can see in all the bad reviews they get here, and as they do by phone or e-mail conversations.
For me this was a bad experience, there are plenty of qualified garages out there, but with decent customer service.
I have waited a while before writing this review. I also recognise a few prior bad reviews had responses from PK garage denying that they were about this garage. This is a review for the right garage.
I have learnt from my experience to not use this garage or any non Mercedes garage for an engine warning light. PK garage and I imagine any non Mercedes garage do not have suitable diagnostics tool to identify the reason for an engine warning light to come on. Unfortunately while on maternity leave I couldn't easily get to my normal garage so thought on balance the reviews for this place were good enough and I would come here. Halfords had done my MOT and said the engine light was glow plugs. I asked PK garage to change these. They confirmed they needed changing from the diagnostics and having removed them that 1 had gone. I was happy with this first service, however the engine light came back on.
We returned. They ran diagnostics and said it was the NO sensors. I asked is it definitely these could it possibly be anything else. I was told no definitely these we paid up the huge cost. The engine light came back on. We were told to run the car for 10 minutes at 70mph, it still returned. We were told it would be the dpf filter and it would need cleaning/replacing. At this point we were quite concerned so went to a specialist dpf company. After £100 test they confirmed nothing wrong with the dpf - suggested a different sensor.. we cut our losses and travelled to a specialist Mercedes garage in Kingston.
They used their diagnostics tool found the issue fixed it and it never returned. Researching online we found the code that came up (we got a report from anther garage) before going to the Mercedes garage) on a general diagnostics tool could be such a great range of things. PK garage were not clear with us that this was the case, the other garage was open and honest. Non Mercedes diagnostic tools essentially have a code that could mean say 6 things and PK picked one of the those 6 and then another in hope they got the right one costing us. If they had been honest when we returned and said the code is this, it could mean one of these things we would never have paid to have the NO sensor fixed. We were essentially mis-sold the service.
I did contact PK garage about it, they did not respond.
I went to my credit card company under section 75, but due to us having fixed the car before making the claim they couldn't help. We are a one car household so it wasn't an option for us to pursue the section 75 before getting the car fixed.
I hope PK garage will be open and honest about what their diagnostics do and do not show in the future.
... To respond to PK garage.
1) No we did not get a print out of any of the fault codes, we were verbal told what each fault code said.
2) No we never said we didn't have the financial means to pay (querying faults is not the same things as not being able to pay)
3) We were not told multiple faults at any point, we asked for a fix to a fault and paid for it. When the fault code came back on we paid to get it fixed. We queried if this was the only issue and was told it was. Then a 3rd time that fault came back on we were told there was another 3rd fault - at this point we could not trust what we were being told and got further advice.
4) Absolutely at no point were we told the engine light would probably come back on.
I tried to be fair and balanced gave 3 stars not 1 - but the response from PK garage is lies. I have no reason to lie, the only reason I am taking my time is to give advice to other people in our situation with Mercedes fault codes.
He Garrage is 1 hour far but deserve the effort because the was very honest, very correct and fair price, communication great, proffesional. 100% happy. Volvo v60 HX63EXN
I pay the guy 1500 for service on the next day i found my car with dead battery.when i open the trunk i sol that was different battery put in my car.Dont go there you will waste your money for a bad service
You cant leave a review reflecting how you feel or you get a letter in the post from them threatening to sue you of defamation of name,

Be warned of there nature..
My silencer completely came off one evening took it to Pkgarage to get a replacement and that's when I found out that the centre part also needed replacing. They managed to replace everything within a few hours maybe less as they knew I needed my car to get home. I couldn't ask for a better garage to work on my car, they will do everything they can to get you up and running again. Definitely will be using this garage again in the future.
