Bought the BBQ chicken with Java rice and egg. It was on offer for buy 1 get 1 free on Uber and must say was amazing for the price.
The food tasted nice, my partner really enjoyed it. Portions were great. Unsure if I would say it tasted authentic Filipino food, but regardless we enjoyed the meal and would buy it again.
This was the first time I've ever tried Filipino food and it was absolutely phenomenal! We ordered both adobo and BBQ options and everything was stunning, including the picked salad! Genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of ordering. And they confirmed their meat is all halal, which we're very grateful for - a rarity for authentic Filipino food like this.
Ordered from uber. Delivery was fast the food looks so far from what I ordered (where are the quail eggs and the veggies??) and very oily!
Ordered on delivery, the beef adobo was really good. Added extra egg.
Definitely recommend trying this place. The rosemary fries wasn’t to my taste bud but none the less worth trying this place out.
Amazing filipino food! I ordered the bbq chicken thighs and it was very juicy & flavourful! It was very big portion too. Highly recommend
Most horrible experience..... I have ordered a beef adobo&bbq beef and the dish that was delivered was not edible.... the beef bbq was burnt and in fact it wasn't even meat but just chunks of fat. The beef adobo was extremeny dry as if the meat was cured. I had a few bites of the greasy rice and felt so sick that I couldn't sleep all night. I went to the restaurant to claim but it is juste a dark kitchen with a fake website, no one answered my calls or answered the door. They also cook pokebites and 3 other restaurant dishes in the same kitchen. Super dodgy, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I can't understand how they are still referred on deliveroo. You can see on the picture posted it is just burnt chunks of fat and only had 2 proper pieces of meat
Pretty sure these reviews are paid for. Had chicken wrap and received soggy salad filled wrap with a few slices of chicken. Tasted like it'd been microwaved.
I hate it when this happens but this is what i get when I try new places. We've entered an era where we have a plague or restaurants paying for fake reviews... Portions are weak and food lacked salt.
I ordered the beef adobo with juicy chicken / grilled chicken. I had adobo growing up, there is different versions of adobo.. This one is dry adobo, which I prefer. The beef is tasty but it has a very strong meat taste/smell even when cooked with soy sauce and vinegar. Some people likes it, but personally I’m not a fan. THAT’S JUST ME. I also prefer garlic adobo which is why I might be biased. The salad did balance the whole meal. The chicken is really good, i would say 10/10! Could be the best grilled chicken in East London. Delivery was fast, the meal was definitely worth it’s price.. I’m glad that there’s finally a filipino place I could order from regularly! :)
