Great live music nights and karaoke too...
A lovely little pub in ponty with very good prices and a lovely atmosphere. The artists we've seen there have always been good and the enjoyment is always high.
Shan the manager was really helpful. She was very welcoming and she really is sooo gorgeous. |The place was fantastic. |When I walked into the pub downstairs, I went to ask the lady at the bar where the manager was. I had noted a ridiculously pretty woman at the bar, she walked up to me and introduced herself as the manager/owner... Since then the stay was amazing.
My partner and I came here today as my partner was the artist for the afternoon. The regular punters made us feel so welcome as if they had known us for years. Very appreciative people. Cheap but quality drinks will definitely be back. Due to the fact that everybody who was in the hotel came out of their way to talk to us. Great pub providing live music for pontyfest, great choice of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and snacks, clean toilets, pool table, great outdoor area where the band was and you can smoke there. Lovely!
Such a lovely place with lovely people and the staff are working their hardest during covid-19 to keep everyone safe and try to get everyone to stick to the rules and they are doing such a wonderful job during this awful time.
Everything is under shelter and it's perfect for a stunning day to sit in the beer garden.
Loud music and drunk teenagers in bar directly below the rooms. Private shower was out of order. The folks running the place were very nice and accommodating, however. The breakfast was great and home cooked, as well.
Stayed here for 1 night in February! we came to Pontardawe to see a band in the arts centre and this hotel is just across the road from it so very convenient. People were very friendly and we had a fab night but if you want a quiet night I wouldn't recommend it but we enjoyed and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was good too!
