My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fish finger sandwich , pack of crisps & 2 x decaf black coffee's... I thoroughly enjoyed Pea & Ham soup, decaf Latte & chocolate banshee cake. Food Excellent. The service, price, seating and atmosphere was excellent too.
Wonderful cosy cafe with the most welcoming, accommodating staff. Have been here for brunch, coffees and their wonderful "pudding & prosecco" and "naughty nibbles" evenings.
Generous portions of quality food - we always have to take our slab of cake away to eat later in the day!
They happily accommodate for my dietary requirements and the food is always hot, fresh and I've never been "glutened" ????????
Can't recommend this lovely local cafe enough!
Hidden gem in Newbury. Worth the trip to come here. Coffee is really good and cakes are to die for! Totally lush!!! Dogs are welcome and a lovely seating area out the back.
I absolutely love this cafe! Always warm and welcoming, even when we straggle in after a run or walk in the rain. The owner, Debbie, is friendly and cheerful. She makes amazing cakes and a mean cooked breakfast. Special events like Puddings and Prosecco or Cheese and Wine evenings are always great fun with excellent food.
lovely staff, served us at 10 past 1 although lunch had finished on Sunday at 1. Can't fault any food or service. Will be returning ????????????
So happy to find this place and to actually be able to order a cake is amazing as I’m gluten and dairy free, pineapple cafe offer a great choice for allergy’s compared to any cafe I’ve been to.
Great coffee and a lovely service and atmosphere.
Looking forward to visiting again.
Oreo scotch eggs and very good sausage rolls ???? and a safe place for cycles make this place a good place for a post or during ride stop. It gets busy on a Sunday morning, a testament to how good an independent cafe it is even though it's in an unusual location
If you want a great cream tea you don't have to go to Devon or Harrods! This place is a hidden diamond and totally worth a visit. Make sure you don't eat before you go as the afternoon tea for two gives you plenty to get you teeth into.
We were asked to give 48 hours notice for the full afternoon tea experience as opposed to dropping in for tea and a cake, so that is worth bearing in mind.
The cakes are made by the owner and they are fantastic, I challenge you to find a better lemon drizzle cake or chocolate brownie.
It is clean, wonderful food, really friendly and helpful service and a great choice.
Parking was very easy as well which is always a bonus. I don't hesitate to recommend this as a treat! My wife and I have been there before for coffee and a cake, but this was the first visit for a full blown afternoon tea - and it was grand! Remember - don't eat much before you go there - otherwise you will need a doggy bag to bring away with you!!
