I visited today for the first time by MISTAKE after walking past and seeing baklava in the window, I purchased 2x mahalabi and 6 sweets. Got home the sweets were absolutely not fresh soggy and could only taste oil. Worst I’ve ever tried, tried the mahalabi which was not the best and very thick, could mostly taste cornstarch and discovered it had hair in it! All what was bought has gone in the bin. Whoever prepares the food obviously doesn’t care about hygiene and the person selling the food doesn’t care about serving old soggy sweets. Definitely don’t recommend to anyone. Disgusting.
What a fantastic shop! The baklava is crispy, nutty and sweet. I don't even like baklava normallly but it is delicious from this shop. The celebration cake was perfect. The correct balance of cream and moist sponge and fresh fruit. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will be going back. ????
Really beautiful little bakery. The eclairs are amazing and the rosewater cream in the profiteroles work so well. Great selection of Baklava also. 10/10 for food and service.
Fabulous cake shop situated just a short way from the city centre. Its difficult to choose a favourite because we have tried so many of their Persian cookies and baklava and they are all equally delightful. I am a huge baklava fan, however, so if I'm forced to pick a favourite it would be their freshly baked baklava.
Cute and friendly family business. The pastries and cakes are amazing, much higher quality than your run of the mill Cooplands or Greggs and also different. Definitely should try as I don’t think you would be disappointed. I personally enjoy the biscuit selection that they have and their small cream cakes. Place looked nice and clean and will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in Hull! :)
Very friendly staff. Really delicious Iranian pastries.
They have one of the best "Bamieh" in the world! Also try the "noon keshmeshi" (a pastry with raisins) very fresh and delicious.

Ordered a cake for my husband's birthday n it was the yummiest cake I've had in a long time. Plus the pastries and rest of the bakery items were equally delicious. Highly recommend this shop.
Beautiful custom made cake for my mums birthday. Light sponge and fresh cream, covered in fruits, nuts and chocolate. She said it was the best birthday cake she'd ever had!
