Great cake and coffee ☕️, had some nice rolls and sarnies here too. Finchingfield is beautiful and roads are great if you ride.
Food was adequate (not bad but nothing to write home about) however the service is poor. The older woman who works there needs to adjust her attitude, she is rude and not welcoming. Other staff should be more attentive when people enter as you're left standing there for a while before someone bothers to come and speak to you. Poor form all round.
Super jacket potatoes and lovely Victoria sponge cake.. well recommended.
Lovely little cafe overlooking such a beautiful little village. Nice hone made food. A little small inside but all in all a nice find.
Went in cafe after complete 4 and half miles walking.
Having a pot of tea with my friend and taste perfect also interesting of pictures on the wall. Only saw Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Audrey Hepburn but many of 40s to 60s celebrities.
I might will come back for another pot of tea.
Friendly welcome and nice atmosphere. Great choice of teas with some rather unusual ones. I had a British grown tea from Cornwall. Good selection of cakes ( don't go if you are on a diet ????) I had a fruit scone which was delicious. My son had a white hot chocolate which he said was lovely. Will definitely call in again when in the area.
What a little gem this place is! They are situated in the beautiful town of Finchingfield, they serve delicious food and excellent hot drinks. With an extensive cafe menu, this is the only place I would go to when visiting the area. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful and make it such a nice place to visit.
