I specifically asked the pharmacist if the ear drops on the prescription were antibiotic so that I know if it's worth me paying £10 to get them and experimenting with them. He said yes.
Unfortunately, after experiencing burning and blockage I've had to go back to the GP who has confirmed that these ear drops are not antibiotic and are not suitable for my infection.
A good pharmacist should be able to say if certain medication is antibiotic or not. I will not be back here and do not recommend. He definitely doesn't know what he is doing. There are some good over-the-counter products here but do not trust the pharmacist.
V. Unprofessional women pharmacist on Wednesdays. Avoid as plague.
Shouting one end to the other with your details and then asking where you come from? Not relevant questions.
This is a shame.
Hope they will find a decent replacement. Owner pharmacist is a vpleasant and a helpful person.
Pharmacist is great, always chats to you and is welcoming and treats you like a human being (sadly this is now rare in other chemists/shops).
His staff are also polite and always make a point of saying hello and asking how I am.
Whenever I have a change in my prescription or it's eg running out the Pharmacist always highlights this just so I am aware/remind me which is often welcome as it usually means I need to book a drs appoint in a week's time.
Many of these things are free and sound simple, but as I said it's so rare now & they really do make a difference.
Nice that there are still businesses that care about their customers and show it!

Fantastic Chemist! Friendly, polite and professional. Most of all they are reliable, and willing to do all they can to help their customers. Pickles really are a cut above the rest, and other local chemists would do well to follow their example.

The team at Pickles Chemist are friendly, helpful and professional. The Pharmacist (Jatin) is particularly good. He is informative and has great customer service. It is clear he cares about the well-being of his customers and provides an excellent service. I have since transferred my prescriptions over to this pharmacy, after experiencing bad service elsewhere in Finchley. I would highly recommend this small local business for all your pharmacy needs.
