There is often a queue for food here and you can see why; it's absolutely marvelous. Classic British meals and cakes to choose from. Portion sizes are just right and happy with the price always paid. I often visit here with loved ones and we love to have a cheeky coffee and cake break. I would give 5 stars but the coffee isn't the best I've had. Lattes have been made far too hot which massively affects the flavour. Overall, an incredible restaurant and great garden centre. This place is clearly managed well and they have high quality products for sale.

Only marked down as it was really busy when we visited (Saturday afternoon) and queued for over 40 minutes to get served.
The fact it is so busy shoes how popular the cafe is. Should be better over the spring/summer as thier outside cafe is reopening.
Food is all beautiful in flavour, presentation, plentiful, and it's freshly prepared. The cakes/desserts are to die for and nice size portions. The staff are all lovely, friendly, clean, approachable, and very helpful. We even took some home after dining in. We watched all food being served and could have eaten some of everything ????.
Perrywoods Café and Restaurant is a great spot if you're looking for some tasty food. The dishes here are really nice, though you might find them a bit pricey. If you're not in the mood to wait for the hot food (yeah, there's usually a bit of a wait), there's a sneaky little counter further in where you can grab a baguette or some cakes without having to stand in the long queue. The place has plenty of seats, so finding a spot isn't a problem. Plus, the staff are super friendly and helpful, which always makes the visit that much better.
Usual garden centre fare with hot and cold lunchtime food as well as afternoon teas. Food nicely presented and brought to your table after ordering.
It seemed very popular. There is free WiFi available in the cafe and restaurant too.
Very busy on visiting, it was probably peak time on a weekend. Food was good as always. Despite being full to capacity (with queueing back through the garden centre), service was reasonably fast, staff working flat out. I have been here When It's much quieter and atmosphere is much more relaxed, so not fault of the cafe.

Visited the garden centre and cafe. Lots to look at and lots of plants.
Most frustrating bit was not being able to order lunch before 12, even if we could have preordered we had a hangry 1 and 2 year old it was about 11:40.
When we did get our food the food was lovely. More choice on the menu and cold drinks would be good, but overall it is worth a trip to Tiptree.
Lovely garden centre, cafè wasn't too busy when arrived at 11am but soon filled up, very noisy but nice to see so many people. Scones were huge and crumbly, only one size coffee available. Would like to see larger drinks available.
