Always a giggle to have when you go in,so friendly and never an issue if you want something cooking fresh
Since around here & considering the referral from my mate who's father use to own. The Original Bearwood chippy 2 doors away from the old Bearwood Cycles. But also he and his family owned the Abbey Chip shop in Bearwood Inc the one on Norman road Mario's which now they are run by Jas & her family. After moving down to our new house & bumped into Mario he recommended me to Perry fields Chippy & folks spot on. As for Mario he's a major supplier of the Donner Meat for the chippys in the Oldbury & Bearwood & the Black Country. Other that enjoy the food. & And ever you're in Bilston check out the Major chippy absolutely pukka ????????????????????
Always fresh cod and nicely cooked . Great friendly service .
Dropped by for a quick bite to eat, went for the mini fish chips with curry sauce, fish was cooked fresh for us and was nice tasting and fresh, the chips were all good, only criticism was the curry sauce was a little watery and lacking a little flavour, would use again as good value for money at £5
Stopped here last week for the first time and really enjoyed our fish and chips. My only criticism is the batter was a little too thick on the fish, saying that I do really recommend
I am SHOCKED BEYOND BELIEF.
I have been coming to this chippy for several years, the staff were always great etc and the food decent. Today 8th of june 2021, i order food and i clocked the man drop part of my food on the floor / a "plastic bag" on the floor or shelf apparently and he was trying to sneakily put back in my food, i COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. I pretended i didnt see to start with.
Had he been honest and told me to wait, he has to make another one i would of been patient and waited.
When confronted, he tried to justify it. I am sooooo shocked and disappointed, I HATE writing bad reviews, but it was the fact he was trying to justify it instead of apologising, which he didn't even apologise. Very disappointed man.
Sorry, but you won't be seeing me ever again.
Great traditional fish and chip shop. Lovely owners and staff and excellent chips. Does full range of chip shop classics as well as kebabs and other dishes.
Brilliant local chippy, been coming here a few years and it's always as good as the last time. Staff are a great laugh too!
