First time coming here since it's been open. Has 3 tables for eating in and if they are full then there is no option but to take out, this depends on when you go of course but it's not exactly a big place????.
You are greeted with the various menu screens but there are leaflets which for me were easier to read. The member of staff that took my order was very helpful and helped me get what I wanted????????.
Moving on to the food... Of course you can't expect Nando's equivalents so if you think then then just go straight there as it's technically an unfair comparison, with that being said I would say you can compare this to Pepe's chicken shops! There is a review that states "the food is bland????" I ordered the half platter (to take away) which has the following:
1x Half chicken (mild flavour) (see pictures)????
3x Wings????
1x side of your choosing ( I chose x10 popcorn style chicken)
2x dips
As an extra I tried the Large peri fries ????
As mentioned before about a previous review I do agree that the chicken tasted a little flavourless BUT not completely, also the peri fries could do with more seasoning too so this could be an improvement for the team to take note of. The members of staff are very friendly and will try to make you leave with a smile!????
This is not a negative review⛔as I did enjoy my meal! I would recommend this place and I may revisit Peri Lick again. I hope if and when I do that they have more flavour as mentioned and will gain my 2 extra stars ????????.
This is the waste peri Peri in my experience.. i was hungry, drove towards Solihull, found this shop. ordered half chicken, (2 piece leg) and a spicy rice, 5 wings. he said total £14.20. i was thinking something wrong. but still ordered. when i came home, only 1 leg piece, and he mixed the rice with a pery pery sauce,, disgusting ????, wings are full of sour sauce.. omg, i never had a food like this.. i rang him again asked, i ordered half chicken, he said no you ordered quarter, then i asked, how its come £14.20, and he explained something.. really irritating.. i add the price and photos below,, believe me, i put it in the bin, whole lots.. see below, rice £3+half chicken £.5.90,5wings £4.80 Total = £13.70. He charged me £14.20 and he gave quarter chicken the price of half... i never go again and not suggesting to anyone. very careful if you order..

Friendly staff make you feel welcome and the food was extremely fabulous!! Cooked fresh, was hot and tasty! Fries done to perfection. Ordered the tasty pitta with hot sauce meal with 4 crispy strips!!
Only downside was I didn’t go large lol

The food was absolutely phenomenal, best piri chicken restaurant in Birmingham. I’ve been eating here for the past 2 years and have always had the most unreal food, such a shame to see them shutting down as no where else compares, not even close! Hope to see them back one day, i will miss it a lot!
Used to serve the best peri food in Brum! Better than Pepe's, Rio's etc etc.. shame the lads closed up! Top lads too! If you're still making the chicken n rice at home, let me know. I'll pay. :) ha
Food is always outstanding! Honestly one of my favourite places to eat from. Was so sadden to find out they were closing down :(
Defo would be difficult to find a place that even compares.
Food and staff will be missed dearly - hope one day peri lick will return ????
I tried the Flaming grilled burger. It was lovely. The chicken was grilled to perfection and flavoured beautifully.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great!
I will be coming back to try something else on the menu when I am shopping at Morrissons!
