I have been going to this place every once in a while in the last year to buy doughnuts. Last time (a week ago) was truly frustrating. Doughnuts with jam were tasting old, not fresh at all. Mostly surprising was the sky rocket price of 1.75 Pounds each! It was a bit strange because there were no price tags in the shelf, as usual. I recall the doughnuts being much cheaper there some 2 months ago. The staff is not the friendliest either.
Have been going here off-and-on since 2004! Brilliant. Chris & lady that does the eggs properly in the sandwiches (Gill, I think) - excellent
