If you’re running a cafe and it’s not doing well, simply pop to this one and learn from the hospitality experts!! These people are warm, friendly and make you feel like you want to go back again and again!! I love great service but when it’s as genuine as this!! This is a rare treat. Lovely couple and the foods good as well!!
Highly recommended!!!
Don’t be put off that it doesn’t look like a cafe from the outside, just go on in and you’ll be treated like an old friend.
Whilst visiting a resident we were very impressed with the cafe. It has opened under new management and have a varied menu with carveries twice a week including a delicious and generously portioned Sunday lunch. Currently they are offering 2 for £20 on Sunday lunches. You may need to call to reserve a table as it is very popular for good reason.
It's wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible, the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. Well spaced out tables, a good variety of food on the menu including full English breakfasts, burgers, coffee and home made cake,it's a a real hidden gem in Louth.
Highly recommended!
After a few tries the food here has been nothing but fantastic!
Every time we've visited the staff are friendly, very helpful & happy to help. Very reasonable prices & a great selection of dishes & deserts. Book to avoid disappointment as they're often busy for Sunday lunch.
A pleasant spacious cafe that is part of a residential home, so it's a great idea.
Good choice of food with gluten free options.
Wasn't too keen on the mid-week roast dinner as it was a slice of beef reheated in gravy, no roast potatoes, tiny amounts of vegetables, everything very salty and barely warm. I normally would have highlighted the problems, but was pushed for time.
Absolutely fantastic. Cheeseburger was the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely be going back.
Today I have had a very disappointing Sunday carvery. I booked for 12.30 and by the time I was served at 1 o’clock there was only two choices of meat left and one of those was scruffy dried out bits of turkey. The cauliflower cheese had run out with no sign of a refill and some of the other veg were cold. It was very busy and the lady serving seemed quite harassed so I am guessing this was not the usual standard. I would advise people to get there very early to ensure getting the full choices before they run out.
A wonderful meal and the friendliest staff imaginable - definitely will return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend
Just had an amazing Sunday carvery here, choice of 4 meats, 3 different types of potatoes, cauliflower cheese, 4 other veg, Yorkshire pud and stuffing, with horseradish, cranberry or apple sauce condiments of your own choice. Will certainly be going back again soon!
