We were on a small road trip and decided to look for a near by coffee shop / cafe during our travels and found this little cafe.
Penny was welcoming and showed us the options of the cakes available.
I got the coffee and walnut cake - was very good and went well with my cappuccino. Overall great service and friendly team. Thanks Penny!
I had lunch here and the food was 10/10
The Strawberry Sundae in January was absolutely delicious.
I had a cake to go for my son's birthday ????
Parking just outside the cafe perfect for anyone who absolutely hates to hunt for it.
Friendly atmosphere and a nice 10min drive from Watton. I definitely recommend it.
Lovely little tea room/cafè. Very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly & accommodating staff. Food was lovely especially the cakes! We had an issue an Penny was really helpful, will definitely be back x
One of my favourite stops for good food and refreshments. Huge selection of reasonably priced breakfast and lunch options; all delicious and freshly prepared to order. Staff are so friendly, helpful and attentive, even when they are busy. It's the little things that make all the difference and the team at Penny's have nailed it!
Especially warm welcome to cyclists and ample off street parking.
New find for us, will definitely be going back.
Staff were friendly and attentive and made us very welcome.
Can highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast and breakfast roll. Both reasonably priced and tasted delicious.
Second visit, lunch this time. Quite busy, but we were still served promptly. Opted for tuna sandwich and pannini - both excellent - plus pot of tea for 2. All for £16.50. Have to say that the ladies running the place are lovely,
A great place for breakfast, lunch, morning coffee or afternoon tea or everything all at once! Quiche was superb. Next time it'll have to be a cheese scone and a slice of cake. Thank you Penny for being a superb cook and host. I felt very welcomed and can't wait to come back again soon. Sorry no photos this time as too busy eating and drinking and enjoying myself!
Nice little village cafe, nothing fancy but in a good way, a traditional cafe with home cooked food.
Quite calming atmosphere set in lovely grounds.
Would recommened.
Doesnt strike me as the place to take a family with small kids if they were to act up though. Seems a lot more senior given the setting and for those who want tranquality. But, they had 2 large speakers so they must do other events which may be different for this in the area its based.
Went for the first time today but will definitely be back again soon.
