At the BRI for the day, went in to find something for breakfast that was more appealing than what I could find in the hospital. It was everything you could ask for. I had prompt polite and friendly service, a quick chat while I waited, other customers were friendly and my order appeared quickly. The portions were a good size, both the food and coffee were spot on.
In short, I'd recommend this place and I will keep it in mind for when I'm in the area. Great all round.
A small space but managed well for sit in service but takeaways would be great.

The best cafe in my view in my trip to Bristol.
The lady was very very nice and helpful with highly courteous.
Tried to customise my order out of the menu, and glad that I got it done. Tried scrambled Egg, BAPS, hot chocolate with some croissants. Believe me those were mouthwatering. Good and speed service even at a busy time.
Must recommend to others and will visit soon again.
Service was good as was the coffee. Eggs Benedict with salmon was pricey considering the hollandaise sauce tasted cold from the fridge and looked squirted. Very homogeneous, but the eggs themselves were poached well. When I explained to the girl at the counter about the unusual hollandaise she helpfully asked if I'd had it before.
Popped in just before closing for a panini drink and carrot cake. Lovely little kitchen bar. Friendly staff and a great place to eat if your visiting a loved one in the hospital
Nice. Good coffee, good sausage sandwich/roll. A little pricey but good. As for the £9 breakfast.... Disappointing! Only 1 sausage and two over cooked fried eggs! It was tasty, but when it costs £9, I'd expect well cooked eggs and more than 1 sausage. That said, the filter coffee was good and I would go back and give it another try.
Mistake made by kitchen. Surly when I pointed out two mistakes. Standard of the breakfast was generally now up to scratch. Waitress was helpful and pleasant.
Had a delicious Meatball Sub - great range of lunch options, eat in or takeaway. Great cakes too!
