Painful. Receptionists haven't quite mastered the art of basic telephone skills. No verbal nods, spoke about me referring to me as SHE right in front of my face the other day, receptionists are rude and don't seem to be able to communicate at all with each other or politely with anyone.
Receptionist and Dr. really helpful wife needed medication whilst on holiday managed to get signed on as a visitor and a telephone consultation within a few hours
Just been there to register. Great receptionist, very cheerful and helpful throughout. Highly recommended.

What on Earth is going on here? All I get is its emergencies only! When I say I'm in acute pain I'm sent to AnE to be told I'm wasting their time and ignored for six hours. When I call the surgery back just to get an appointment next week whenever I'm still told it's emergencies only only and call back tomorrow! It took 86 calls to get in queue of 17!
Absolutely shocking service. You have to call between 8-10am on a weekday to get an appointment, but you can never get through. When I have, you get told by unsympathetic staff that all appointments are booked and to call again at 8am next week because "that is our system". In the past two years, I eventually managed to get a smear after a year (late) of hassling, and an appointment with an asthma nurse (I had to get asthma medicine online in the meantime because it took so long to see her) who also took bloods after more hassling. I had to chase for my results, and eventually went to the surgery to get print outs and pay a private dr to read them for me, who told me to go back to the dr because they showed very high cholesterol. I was given a 3 minute telephone appointment with a rude dr who told me "one problem, three minutes", who I told I had high cholesterol. He agreed and wrote me a prescription for Stains, just like that. No discussion what they were, side effects, etc. Just "to get your cholesterol down you'll have to take pills for the rest of your life". I tried to ask about menopause, but I was told to go to the NHS website "one problem, three minutes". Or call back - that was 6 months ago, and I have failed to get through - or when I have, find an appointment - since. Even though every TV show has an NHS dr telling us that when you are suffering with menopause systems (including up to 5 nosebleeds a day in my case, which is why I am so worried) to 'see' a GP to discuss how to treat those symptoms if they are negatively affecting your life. What do we pay our taxes in Wales for? This adds unwanted stress to your life. Is one dr's appointment, a nurse's appointment, and a smear too much to ask in two years after not seeing a dr for years due to COVID?
We are on holiday in the area and the reception staff and GPs went above and beyond to see my Dad who fell ill whilst here. People complain about our front line staff but they truly were amazing today from helping with a temporary registration to providing the medication needed. Thank you so much.

Absolutely useless and degrading. Dr rolls is so rude and nasty, shouted at me because I did what dr badeap had asked me to do. I was shouted at like a naughty child. Other Dr's there are either simular to dr rolls or just don't listen and end up sending you the wrong medication or not sending any at all. Plus every time I phone I'm left untill the very end of the day to phone me back.
