Loads of staff doing nothing all day, creating therefore massive queues that mean an average wait is 20 minutes or more. Don't try and pick up a prescription or even just buy anything in your lunch time from work you'll be late back for definite. Shocking service. Showed them my text alert with prescription details and they looked at it like it was alien language. C'mon, we deserve better service than this please.
Am absolute shambles of a pharmacy, staff stood talking to each other & friends about nothing concerning work or prescriptions, while a massive queue including elderly people & crying babies were waiting.
Management seriously need to step in & sort this out.
I have used the Peak Pharmacy below the surgery at West Bar for a few years now and it has gone down hill in the past year or so. The one lady that I deal with on a regular basis is very unhelpful and at times dismissive and unpleasant. When asking for assistance her response is usually I can't help you or I don't know. Not offering any guidance or asking colleagues for help unless pushed to do so as it is important that I get it sorted. I have since changed Pharmacies but on occasion still need to use this location below the surgery and am instantly reminded why I left in the first place.
Waiting time can be lengthy. When I switched to getting the text alert that my repeat prescription was ready for collection it halved the time spent in the pharmacy, as I didn't need to hang around waiting for the order to be made up. The staff are clearly very busy but I've always found them friendly.
AVOID. THEY WILL SCAM YOU.
I've tried to order medication from here multiple times and have had issues including them not having the medication after telling me on the phone that they did, them putting the phone down on me without saying anything, them being rude to me in person and countless other issues.
I've had repeated issues where they do not have my medication, they provide me with an owed sheet which I bring back and they don't honour it even after its paid.
Try not to go here if possible.
Utterly hopeless for prescriptions, queues always long and barely moving. Simply not enough staff to cope with demand. Do yourself a favour and register elsewhere.
Came in with a perscription as a national chain had let me down. The girl on the till said she was ever so sorry but the pharmacist had just gone on lunch so it would take an hour....a voice popped up "oh I can squeeze that in before I go" and a few moments later I had my perscription.... fantastic service
