Staff lack enthusiasm with tables left, uncleared to the point where you have to ask staff to clear a table just so you can sit in an empty restaurant.
A very nice little cafe in a really good store.
There was a good selection of food you could choose from with the baked potato and Tuna mayo looking so very tasty, unfortunately it was the customer sat at the table next to me who had that.
We had a pot of tea, a large latte and 2 cinnamon twist pastries and had the pastries warmed up, absolutely delicious.
Friendly staff, good choice of food with a very clean restaurant.
The prices are very reasonable, I can't think why you wouldn't want to go here.
I decided to pop in and try pausa kitchen for lunch, this café is ideal for light breakfast, brunch and lunch meals, I tryed the pulled beef topped tostie, it was served with a small salad and crisps and tasted great, the café was clean and I could look out over the busy carpark whilst I ate, the prices were extremely reasonable and I felt warm and unrushed. The toilets are right next to the café. I will be definitely going again next time I shop.
Oh dear. Tried this cafe a few times but it's not getting better, in fact worse. Last experience was 4 members of staff, 3 chatting and looking at their phones and ignoring customers, 1 member of staff trying to serve but having to ask for help from the 'chatters '. Mistakes over order, crockery not cleared, hardly any customers (not surprised)... No further chances to get it right from this customer...
Such a shame ,I've been here on a weekday and it's been great.
Today was awful, I queued 15 minutes to get served, and then another 35 mins after ordering before food arrived. My order was ok but other people near me weren't.Customers had wrong food, people walked out.The staff didn't seem to know what they should do.
I've been here once before and was frustrated at my Luke warm drink. Today I went with a friend who took my Luke warm hot chocolate back as it was too cold to drink. They prepared me a second one which was exactly the same so when a member of staff came by I told her again and although I said I didn't want a third cup she still brought me one. This time spot on but this would definitely influence my decision to go there again. The cinnamon plaits were lovely though
Waited over 30m for 2 toastie and a soup which is absurd seeing as it’s not exactly made to order just pre packed food that needs to be warmed up. Female staff member behind the counter was rude when we asked for a refund due to the wait time stating “talk to them i don’t work here” whilst wearing a dunelm t-shirt and a headset? They were also serving tables in a random order rather than by order time. Don’t bother eating here unless you have an hour spare to sit around.
Queued For 10 minutes despite it not being busy and ordered 2x toasties and a soup. After waiting over 30 minutes we asked where our food was ‘it’ll be 2 minutes they’re making it now’. 10 minutes later we asked where the food was and they hadn’t started making it!! We asked for a refund and left. Awful service and poor attitude from staff.
