Everything is cooked fresh. Fantastic portion size and the staff are always welcoming
Excellent service. The staff always offers good service. Food is good and pretty good portion sizes. Can be busy on a Friday night but still get quick service even if cooking to order.
Large cod and chips,plenty to share between 2 of us.
Cod was cooked to perfection and not greasy. Chips not so great,but probably the potatoes. (Not the cooks fault)

Great fish and chip shop. Well priced, staff are very freindly and you're never waiting long. Quality of the fish is excellent, portions of chips are very generous and the curry sauce is 10/10! Been here a few times and never been disappointed.
I go in every Friday for our tea and it's always brilliant.
The staff are friendly and welcome you with a smile even when it's very busy and they are doing multiple jobs.
The wait time even when busy isn't long, especially as I order plaice which is freshly cooked to order every time.

I am coeliac and never thought I would taste fish and chips like this EVER. Absolutely delicious, better than before I was gluten intolerant. The service is always with a smile and I look forward to ordering and being treated with care and respect. FIRST CLASS at Paul's Plaice!!
Just had our first visit to Paul's Plaice. The most delicious fish and chips we've had for a long time. The batter was perfect both light and crispy!
