Food is absolutely amazing everytime we're that way we'll be hitting this food van great prices for some tasty food
The breakfasts here are amazing! And great value - £6 inc. coffee, bread and butter. My friends and I in the village meet for breakfast most Fridays and this is our favourite place.
Just the best vegetarian doorstop sandwich
I stop from time to time at the A36 lay-by between Stapleford, north of Salisbury, and the A303 and I'm never disappointed by the food and drink offered by Paul's bus. In October 2022 the bus was away and temporarily replaced by a standard burger van but it was the same helpful young lady cooking the same delicious food. I had a huge bacon and egg baguette for £5. The baguette was really fresh, and packed with bacon and fried eggs which were cooked to perfection. Add a nicely brewed cup of tea in a polystyrene cup with a lid for £1 and I was a very happy customer, as always.
I recommend this lay-by with delicious hot food (and which also has a public toilet, a few picnic benches, and a nice view) as the perfect place to break your journey.

It is brilliant for stopping off to use the toilets and to grab something to eat and drink, and when we take the dog, he can also stretch his legs and have a wee as travelling from Weston-super-Mare to Southampton and back
Often stop here. Van in layby on A36 Nice cooked trucking food. Cheap but very nice. Stop for something small or large. Not just for truckers but sums up the sort of thing you can get. And there is some clean toilets on site

Great honest food at affordable prices. Paul was happy to use my gluten free roll no fuss what so ever and even charged me less. Good mug of tea. A must stop. Plans are in place for a new and improved bus soon.
