A wide choice of food with plenty of options. They don't have ketchup you can add yourself. A tub costs £1, a bit too much for ketchup when you've already paid over £10 for fish and chips!
It's a big shop but they only do takeaways, no seating space. They take card payments which is good. Food was ok although I found it to be a bit expensive.
Seaside Ripoff - unless you want a bag of grease.
£18.70 for 8 pieces of scampi and chips, and a haddock and chips and a can of Tango orange.
Scampi size was ok, but otherwise dry and tasteless. As were the salted and vinegared chips, which were just flavourless.
As for the haddock - which should have been skinned and deboned, but as you can see from the picture, short of having its head and tail removed, it was pretty much fried alive, and the wrapping showed it. The haddock and wrapping were both literally dripping with grease.
At this point, 2 stars would be generous...
Considering we waited 20 minutes for fish and chips, there was no queue, we were unable to finish, and an absolute waste of £20.
Edit: the tango was somehow flat too...
Terrible place got orders wrong forgot 2 chips and I had to go all the way back up there!! and came up to over £34 for cod and 2 sausages!! And when I went all the way back up there Avoid like the plague!!
Got cheesy chips, £5.50 for them they are great but had to microwave them as the cheese wasn't melted but after melting them they were amazing would have again
Great food but is a bit of a wait at times as food is cooked to order! Well worth the wait though!!

Very good food and a good price, at this time of year All food cooked to order, understandable with the price of gas and electricity, so a little time to wait for your order, but we'll worth it, also note that only cash is taken,a very very clean shop
So i oreded, was told 15min for cod and chips and sausage and chips. Fine not a problem as it is cooked fresh to order..... waited 20min to be called over when the lady said to me large sausage and chips i looked at her and said no. Cod and chips and sausage n chips she then said she oh i gave it to the other man i did call you ..... i said to her that was not my fault as you have not called me, but she started to blaim me saying i called you, i called you, you should have come.... I replied if you had called me i would have come. But it is obivious you do not know who you called or what orders people have placed, you should have checked maybe give people tickets with numbers.... but she continues to argue as if it was my fault. I then ignored her and spoke to the man and said she need to stop blaiming everyone else for her mistakes, not good enough.
Now i have to wait anoth 15min for the food, i would have gone to woodys but he was closed...lets hope it is good...but as for the service 1 out of 10.... I will up date on the food .
