Great selection of pasties to choose from with even vegan and gluten-free options available. The pasties we got were delicious with lots of filling, and the lady serving us was so sweet. Definitely recommend if you're in a rush and need something on the go.
Had the gluten free Traditional Steak pasty — was amazing! Lucky find and made my day. They also do a vegetarian & gluten free (cheese & onion pasty), if that’s what you’re after.
We had traditional Cornish pasties, gluten free and wheat ones, both were delicious.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, and even pointed us in the direction of other gluten free options as they had run out of cheese and onion which the kids wanted.
Feeling completely let down after purchasing the 'Cream Tea For Two'
Total waste of money, the scones were tiny and stale.
Definitely sticking with Tesco Finest.
Much tastier and for a fraction of the price.
Service wasn't great either!!
Found the lady to be rude and sarcastic
Visited today and got 4 mint Choc chip ice creams. Very tasty. Don't usually see mint Choc chip as a dairy free option which was another bonus as had vegan and someone with allergies. Friendly lady said they are getting more vegan/dairy free flavours soon also. Pretty good price for tourist food too.
Have been wanting to try this place for a while after being recommended by a family member. First week of the summer hols so understandably busy. Staff were really friendly, fast and up front about the extra wait for gluten free option. We had the Vegan Cornish and Gluten Free Cheese and Onion. We were both really impressed with how tasty, crispy and full the pasties were. Often both vegan and gluten free options appear to be the token gesture, but not here... very impressed!! Most definitely worth the wait!!
If you're vegan, avoid this place. Not only was it significantly poor customer service, the vegan range was extremely limited. The menu stated 3 vegan pasties and a vegan sausage roll, however an hour after opening, there was no vegan sausage roll and only 1 product for each vegan option. The workers attitude was disgusting and I quote "if you want something special, you have to order and wait 45 minutes". She seriously needs to improve both her attitude, customer service and vegan options. She only used vegan on the menu to gain more custom however it is very clearly her attempt to make veganism a trend and lower the importance of the social movement. Avoid this place completely and invest your custom and money into a proper vegan friendly place.
Terrible customer service, when beginning our order, 1 hour after the shop opened, we asked for 3 vegan traditional pasties to which she replied "no, we only have 1 of each vegan option". She claimed this was to keep the freshness yet there were piles of the non-vegan ones sitting there clearly going stale. She then said if we wanted a "special" one it would be 45 minutes to wait, which is appalling and veganphobic as she didn't have an issue making meat pasties instantly and continuously.
