Brilliant new spot. Great atmosphere. Delicious, colourful dishes and creative menu. Fab options for kids too. Well thought-out wine list. Highly recommend.
I haven't been able to stop thinking about the food at the Parlour Brasserie... The pictures are just a snapshot of what wonderful Chef Claire Rooney presented during my Mothers Birthday celebrations. The Ceviche is the best I've ever had... complimented by a delicious symphony of fresh and flavoursome ingredients. The Wine list is superb, closely followed by the extremely moreish cocktails! Service is fantastic and I must mention the incredible setting - with the back drop of an Art Gallery and Cinema, the Parlour really has it all! I couldn't recommend visiting the Parlour enough, especially with the Summer months ahead; perfectly located a stones throw away from the Sea; what more could you want?! Claire and the Parlour Team - thank you for making the evening so special! I cant wait to visit again!!
Lovely music great, the service is a little slow, but the atmosphere was electric!
Just hot home from an amazing Steak Night deal. The best steak and sauce I've tasted in a long while. A brilliant portion and pepper sauce to die for.
Staff all lovely and our server had never made a floater coffee before, a bit 70s I agree and he wasnt of that era but he absolutely nailed it.
My husband had Sticky toffee and fig pudding, which he loved.
We live local so will def be back.
Superb and original menu full of flavours and colour. The atmosphere is warm, natural and classy. The waiting staff are friendly and approachable, one of wich was Daisy who attended our table with a charming smile and polite enthusiasm, no request was too much trouble.
From the time we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The team here are so very friendly and warm. The one page menu was full of so many delicious sounding choices, and the wine list was varied and considered, from a Spanish Albarino, to an Italian U Passimiento. We ordered a delicious Cava followed by a perfectly chilled organic Campo Flores. It was tough to choose between the whole seabass, the rib-eye steak and the pigs cheek. There are vegan choices, including a tasty beetroot burger we saw delivered to another table.
The whole evening was lively, and fun and we chatted to the very efficient and attentive waiting staff and to the owner-chef.. It reminded me of being inside of a French bistro. The whole atmosphere was so relaxed, yet buzzing and the restaurant more than a touch chic. We are so looking forward to returning.
Nice food but disappointing service. Wasn't clear when arriving whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated. As it was queued for 15 minutes getting conflicting reports on if we could be seated. Finally got a table, food arrived but no cutlery or drinks. One drink arrived at the end of the meal, no sign of the second drink. Watched more people queuing and then giving up and leaving. Easily could have walked out without paying. Baffling given there were 5 wait staff on duty. A real shame as the food and decor were lovely.
On one fine Saturday, I just had a walk on the beach. Most of the restaurant bookings are full. But, when I walk in, the team from Parlour is so kind and arrange a new table for a person who just walk in. And I can feel the warmth and kindness not only to a new customer but also a new person in town.
