Disappointment
You really need to get your act together
Ordering my take away was an experience on its own!
Been coming here for decades on and off. Haven't been since the refurbishment.
Decor unquestionably better, but at the sacrifice of customer service. Barman too busy to take my order and sundry others wandering around.
Eventually took my order, though I did have to repeat it three times before the gentleman understood.
28 minutes later it arrived, although the man giving it to me told me totally different contents to what I ordered, eventually got it sorted.
Got the food home, onion bhaji was massively overcooked solid and inedible.
The main dish, a mix of various meats was ok with a plain naan.
Toilets clean if a little compact.
You need to sort customer service that you have lost and Bhaji cookery!
Was the most awful chicken tika masala. Chicken was weird and squidgy like it wasn't cooked but looked cooked and it didn't taste right. Onion baji was over cooked. Used to order here all the time but I won't be going back. Its was shocking! £24 quid basically went in the bin!
Hubby and I have been going to Panahar for years and have always loved it. However they have just reopened the restaurant after closing for a few months for a massive refurbishment and I was blown away by the improvements on out first visit since the reopening. I can honestly say that the new improved Panahar is amazing! The new decor now warrants dressing up to go out for dinner and I was so pleased that I had made an "out out effort" with my evening wear as I would have felt seriously under dressed for the event otherwise. They have even overhauled the menu to include lots of new exciting dishes. Only issue is that it's so lovely that we may have difficulty getting a table now ????????
Don’t even Desiree a rating worst chicken cylon I’ve ever had rice was shiiite as well avoid the place like the plague
Hidden gem in the heart of Stanford, we had a lovely meal, superb food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced! We’ll definitely be going back ????????
It was our wedding anniversary, and normally, we would stay in and have a takeaway, but we decided to walk to the Panaha to eat in. The service was exceptional, and the food was so tasty it really made our evening.
Went to Panahar for first time for ages. Have to say how disappointed I was. It was a birthday meal for my other half along with 2 family members.
Ordered bottle of Pinot £15 bottle tasted grosse, then decided to order a bottle of Chabli £29.95 bottle for only to come out and was a Morrisons Best range (£15).
We didn’t order starters just straight to mains, shared rice which was never enough for 2, got pressurised by the owner to order more food, all in all 4 main meals, 2 bottles of cobra and wine £138…. Never will go there again. Way to expensive.
Zaal all day long.
Food has gone down hill and continuously short changed by delivery drivers
