The nicest gentleman ever! My noisy windscreen wiper was driving me mad on my NC500 trip and rather than make a sale, he suggested using white vinegar first to see if that would fix it. I don't think I've ever had a sales person suggest something that would actually lose a sale. What a legend!!
Excellent little shop, a real life saver. Desperately needed some octane booster for the car as the petrol stations are all 95! Couldn't find it anywhere else and this place had 2 options! Big thank you!
What a help, thought I'd need new wipers all round for MOT, he took the trouble to look at mine, and said he could see nothing wrong, and they should be OK, he did say that the problem was a thin layer of grease on the glass and recommended that I clean the glass with (distilled white) vinegar. Car passed no trouble. Good traditional service from somebody who knew what they were talking about.
Superp service and excellent knowledge from Hugh. Why use Amazon or Ebay when there is faster delivery and significantly better quality products from a local business such as this.

The owner couldn't be more helpful. I was desperate for a battery and he stayed at his shop 90 minutes after closing time so I could collect it after work. Then he even went on to lend me tools to change the battery which he then did for me himself. After all this help he wouldnt even keep the change as a tip which was less than a fiver. I am very grateful for the service at this shop. People should be more supporting to local businesses.
The owner was helpful beyond expectation and would not accept a penny for his significant time and assistance. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Shop is full of every kind of part a car would need to at sensible prices.
