Nella meravigliosa cornice del Grand Hotel Timeo, lo chef stellato Roberto Toro emoziona con i suoi piatti al ristorante Otto Geleng. La tradizione siciliana esaltata nel menù mediterraneo dello Chef che rivisita la cucina classica senza alterarne le radici. Eccellente la cantina con etichette conosciute e di nicchia. Otto tavoli elegantemente apparecchiati con tovaglie cucite a mano e prestigiosi allestimenti. Consigliati i percorsi culinari con menù degustazione adatti ai palati più esigenti. Un’esperienza indimenticabile.
ieri sera ho cenato da Voi. Esperienza entusiasmante, se possibile ancora superiore alle aspettative. Tutto perfetto, grazie a Massimiliano Puglisi, General Manager, e a Roberto Toro, Executive Chef.
Location a dir poco suggestiva , servizio ottimo sempre attento , tavolo fronte mare ma in seconda fila anche se abbiamo prenotato con largo anticipo, menu' degustazione pesce eccellente in tutte le sue portate un tripudio di sapori e colori accostati con maestria , esperienza sicuramente consigliata . Unica nota negativa abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti circa per poter pagare solo perche' abbiamo presentato una gift card , che li ha messi in confusione , ritengo che dopo aver verificato l'importo della carta bastava farci pagare la differenza e poi con calma procedere loro alla sistemazione dei problemi amministrativi per far quadrare i conti fra il ristorante e l'albergo . Un disservizio simile non e' accettabile in un ristorante stellato all'interno di una struttura luxury appartenente alla catena Belmond .
Posto meraviglioso con un panorama mozzafiato.
Esperienza strabiliante, servizio eccellente, sommelier ultra professionale (anche se non ci siamo trovati in accordo sulla qualità di alcuni vini????).
Unici due appunti: il benvenuto dello chef lo abbiamo gustato senza posate, una salvietta sarebbe stata gradita. Prezzi dei vini troppo alti
Ci sono stato a fine luglio 2020. Pessimo sotto ogni punto di vista. Iniziando dall'inadeguatezza del personale, in particolare il maitre, dall' atteggiamento troppo spiritoso e confidenziale. Il menù decisamente ambiguo sui prezzi. La cucina inutilmente pretenziosa. Tanto rumore per nulla, come diceva qualcuno.
Awesome experience at Otto Geleng. Staff was incredible and the view was also amazing.
Food was very good but timing seemed long between courses at points. Approximately 30 minute waits between middle courses. Led to 3.5 hour dinner, which was still very enjoyable, just something to know going in.

had the best time and food. All staff was very nice with us, friendly but extremely professional. Innovative Sicilian dinner, not too heavy and well thought as proportions.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Timeo. I don't have to say much about the view over Taormina except that it is absolutely magnificent. We were warmly welcomed and served with great care from start to finish. Here you can tell immediately that the focus is on the guest, there is nothing missing. A blanket was brought to me as soon as the waiter noticed that I was a little cold when it got dark. It was also positive that great importance is attached to hygiene and the order in which to wear masks for staff and guests. A small bottle of disinfectant gel is available at the table.
With regard to the selection of dishes and drinks, we were given very professional advice and the sommelier was also available to answer any questions. The food was absolutely great, very fresh, delicious and prepared with attention to detail and more than deserved the Michelin award.
It is also noted that the staff, available at all times, could speak fluent English, German and Portuguese. Thanks to the whole Team of Timeo, we really enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Grazie mille!
