Michelle, her hard-working husband and charismatic daughter really take some beating. The service and care is top notch, food is always fresh and delicious and value excellent. Our go-to take away, Oriental Chef never disappoints.

SO delicious. Lovely lady taking orders, delicious food cooked while you wait in minutes. So tasty, fresh and good value for money. Fed 3 adults and a toddler for £33… amazing.

I wonder if some of these reviewers are talking about the same place! Yes the staff are lovely but the food is awful! The meat tough and or dry and the sauces pretty bland and lacking any depth of flavour. The prices are low but in this case you get what you pay for! There is definitely a gap for a good Chinese restaurant/takeaway in Godalming.
Busy place. Michelle is an absolute star and the food is first class. In particular, the succulence of the egg fried rice (having been in the microwave) and the BBQ spare ribs that weren't drowned in sauce but had a crispy spine. Go Michelle.
Pretty good. Had crispy duck, beef in black bean sauce and chicken with cashew nuts plus rice. Food was good (didn’t taste overly done with salt or MSG) and very friendly service.
This is by far the best Chinese around and has been consistently good over the many years we have visited. The staff are super friendly especially the lovely Michelle. Service speedy, prices great and dishes all fresh and delicious.
