Our Breakfast was simply Yummy.
My Full English was very well cooked freshly made and juicy sausages, what more could you ask for. The Salmon Egg on Toast again was spot on.
We have breakfast generally at a different venue once a week and we do travel on occasions some distances for a Breakfast, and having had some amazing meals and some awful ones. “On The Latch” is way up there with the best, 5 Star Plus not just for the meal but a scrupulously clean venue, plenty space between tables and lots of seating.
The Staff are all very friendly and very attentive when serving you.

The staff here are lovely so immediately you feel welcome and valued.
The food was delicious. Jacket potato came with a delicious salad and coleslaw. Huge!
Cream tea was good. Fluffy scone. Lots of tea. (one whole strawberry was a bit odd).
Well priced.
Not too busy and local so reasonably quiet as in volume.
Plenty of parking.
Excellent breakfast, reasonable prices. Good sausage, generous black pudding slice (added), friendly staff, warm and comfortable place.
Loos opposite, and approach to the place makes you wonder if you’re really in the right place, but it’s worth it.

Beautiful tearooms in lovely setting. Plenty of space outside and in. Every time I've visited the food, service and amenities are outstanding. Highly recommended
Came here for a relaxed mum & daughter lunch on a Friday. We each had a sandwich and bowl of cheesy chips - it tasted amazing! Chips were perfectly cooked, crispy outside and ultra soft fluffy centres with generous amount of melted cheese and very filling. Sandwiches were fab too, granary bread was so soft. Comes with really nice crisps and homemade coleslaw. We were surprised just how nice it was for what we thought was a simple lunch. Really lovely staff too, so friendly and attentive.
Unfortunately we were too full for cake, but that looked amazing too, so will definitely need to visit again soon for that! Would highly recommend this place.
P.S. to the staff - we forgot cash for tip! So sorry, but we will be back and tipping double next visit. Thank you for the brilliant food and service x
