When you find a good mechanic or garage you stick with them. My dad introduced me to this place when I got my first car over 30 years ago. I always feel I get good reliable service.
Took my car in here with an issue just before 5pm yesterday. By 5.30pm I was back on the road and it was good as new. Gavin diagnosed the issue instantly. Fast, efficient and reasonably priced. Excellent service from lovely people. First time here but if I have an issue again this will be the place I'll go to. Top notch.
Fair honest and helpful! A rare quality in a garage now a days. i can't recommend John enough. I'm sure other other guys are great too. So hard to find mechanics you can trust.
Took my van here last year for a mot, they phoned me and said it failed on windscreen wipers (that I just changed the day before the mot) an indicator light and the parking break. I asked how much this would be to fix and was told they would call me back and tell me a quote. I phoned back around 5 hours later as I still haven't heard back from them, They said oh I was just about to phone you I have your pass certificate here. So they done the work without giving me a price. Obviously the work was done so I couldn’t even argue about it so I just paid it. On the way home my van felt different and on the dash board it said I was only getting 18mpg. I only lived round the corner. The next day I drove on the motorway down to my grans house and I seen white smoke coming from my van and people telling me to pull over. When I did my back wheel/break was on fire they obviously tightened far too much and nearly caused a huge accident. They came and picked up my van and untightened it but they tried to say it was nothing to do with them and it wasn't there fault. I owned the van for a year before this and never had a problem with it until I took it to them.
I'm satisfied with the quality of their services. And it's convenient that they work on Saturdays ????

I went to this garage on 2nd week of January 2023 to check why the battery keep on draining. They did the 'parasitic drain test' to figure this out. All sorted now. Got the engine and oil filter changed too.
I've got quotation/advise through phone on what to do next.
The price was very reasonable.
I would advise you call before you go in case they are a bit busy during peak time (winter/new year) etc.

I put my van in on Monday for a M.O.T. to this Garage for the First Time and I was absoulutly delighted with the service that they provided. They called me to let me know that the van needed a few things done for it to pass it's M.O.T. I agreed and the jobs were done straight away and that was brilliant. I will certenly be using them again in the future. Great Service, Very Pleasent, and very helpful.
