I wanted to share my recent experience at Oliva Gardens in Bradford, specifically in the Eden Suite, and express my disappointment. As someone who frequents the restaurant and enjoys the food, I was really let down this time. After waiting for two hours, my food still hadn't arrived, and the only explanation given was that they were 'busy.' As a loyal customer, it's disheartening to feel like my time and loyalty weren't valued. I hope they can improve their service because I'd love to continue supporting them, but this experience has left me feeling frustrated.
Desserts were awful, made us wait over 1 hour for desserts and the reason was they were having communication issues. They didn’t even bring drinks to the table despite asking a few times. Music was too loud, unable to have a conversation with friends at the table.
Desserts and mocktails were really nice, great music, excellent vibe. Our waiter Naz was really friendly and helpful in recommending the right selections. Would definitely visit again
A delightful experience, loved the desserts and Karak chai! The atmosphere was lovely and defo added to our evening vibe. The manager, Steph was the sweetest person, she accommodated our requests and also recommended other services- defo coming again!!
The customer service was amazing! Staff are very attentive and friendly.
Food was nice but portions are small for the price and nachos were a soggy :( there was more cheese that nachos too! So proportions a little out. £7-8 for a mocktail is a little steep but they were nice. Desserts were the highlight for me. Sheesha was average, £20 is a lot though.. not sure if it’s worth the price.
Atmosphere was lovely, nice and chilled, great spots to take lots of pictures! I’d go there again but only for the desserts maybe.
We visited The Eden Suite as a group to celebrate a birthday. Overall we were so impressed by the environment, it’s clean, the decor is stunning, and there is plenty of seating. The concept of having a women’s only space is also fantastic and quite unique, the entrance is separate and all staff are also female.
The atmosphere was chilled, but also with the chance to have a dance and there is a DJ at weekends which was great (though a plea to the DJ to please focus less on mixing and let the crowd hear a full song!), it was very comfortable throughout and the toilets were clean and spacious. There is a general rule not to film in some areas and to respect the privacy of other guests which was great. There are some spaces outside, otherwise parking is on the surrounding residential street. There is a good range of drinks, food and shisha flavours and whilst the price range wasn’t cheap, it also wasn’t completely unreasonable. The shisha was decent and the staff attended to the pipes discreetly.
The only slight negative for me was the food, having a small menu is a great idea however almost every dish is something cheese related. The mixed mezze wasn’t completely in stock however missing items were replaced. That said, I’m not sure it was worth £9, and the hummus was probably some of the worst I’ve ever tasted. Everything else was decent. It would be great to see some more options not cheese-related as if you’re lactose intolerant or vegan, you’d not be able to eat anything. Even some chips would have been a good addition. Same for the dessert, at least one vegan option would be much more inclusive. They also don’t do any takeaway options if you wanted to leave with a dessert. Mocktails are somewhat pricey but really well made and tasted great.
Generally this is a fantastic space with a unique concept, with some more work on the food menu to be more inclusive, I think it would be a perfect night out!
Visited last night with friends amazing food and service. Only thing I did not like was the pay as you go, but understandable why they have this in place. Excellent service.
Was an amazing experience - definitely going to be a regular spot for me and my daughters. Loved it and hats off to that amazing Manager - Ruby! And no never met her before but was amazed at her welcoming personality and friendliness. Thumbs up all the way - well done
