This is a friendly fun café in the day and a bar at night. I only had breakfast there and that was excellent. There is a nice seating area outside that is screened off from the road.
It's very close to the Copthorne Golf club.
I used to come here often as I am local. I have been a very loyal customer for the past few years. I did previously enjoy the atmosphere and great stuff such as Ben who as since been dismissed for no apparent reason.
I have been visiting another local pub recently as the choice is drinks is much better, the staff are always happy to see me and they have a great atmosphere.
I decided to make a return about 2 weeks ago, accompanied by a few friends. Upon arrival the member of staff Mandy, who I don’t think has ever smiled in her life. She proceeded to state that my brother and I (who lives over an hour away and rarely comes with me) are always rude every time I come to Oliver’s. I am absolutely shocked and offended that a member of staff thinks she has the right to speak to customers this way.
I was previously considering returning to Oliver’s but after this terrible experience, I would not recommend it to anyone. The staff close early and are rude. The music is horribly. I would highly recommend not visiting unless you are happy to be disrespected as a loyal customer by the staff in particular Mandy.
I wish you all the best and hope this place can one day turn around, as once upon a time I did enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff.
First visit today and I liked it. Nice friendly atmosphere, staff and service were great. Being lunchtime it was obviously busy but we were able to get a table and we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. A further plus is it is dog friendly. I'd happily recommend to friends and will return again. Thank you.

We was a group and they looked after us all very well just right I’d say as I’ve had experiences where the staff hover most off putting but here they did not they got on with what they where doing but just popped over when was needed so very very pleasant I’d never been here before so I was reserved about it but yes have to say it was fantastic so Thanku all for a very pleasant experience
Spent a few hours in here working on my laptop waiting on a flight to land at Gatwick. The staff were lovely and it had a great feel to the place. Seems very popular wish the locals! Always a good sign. The food was delicious and well presented. Will definitely be popping in any time I'm down that way!
Great place to go for breakfast, especially if your hungry and like a fry up. Staff are really nice and the atmosphere is great not been there in the evening so can't comment but I can only imagine it would be good ????
Went to support a friend doing a charity event. There was a lovely atmosphere and the cheese on toast was delicious. Will be back to try coffee and more of the menu soon.
