This is a fantastic transformation from the dive it was two years ago. The interior has been tastefully renovated, toilets top-notch and the beer garden has been a great addition. Now doing a basic, but satisfying food menu. Lovely staff and beers and you can catch a great band or two at the weekend. Well done Calico!!!

Finally a pub brought into the 21st century and made welcoming in Coleford! Hooray!!!!

I'm so pleased to see this building restored as it looked very sad previously.

The new owner's respected and celebrated its history by exposing stonework and complementing all with luxury wallpapers and Farrow paint.

Can't wait to see the log burner once it comes and hoping to see the decor extend to the street front once the weather gets a little nicer! A few plants and warm fairy lights will do so much for the market place as well as the Inn.

Oh my god and as a side note; as a woman nice loos are hard to come by in this area so joy! Decent sized cubicles you could swing a cat in, funky decor with fabulous soap. Bliss.

No more peeling brown paint, budlia sticking out from cracks and sticky 30 year old carpet. Bravo! I'm now pleased to go into coleford for a drink.

Great to have a proper pub back. Great improvements and beer garden is a special bonus.

Very comfortable interesting place to enjoy a drink, well supported after a major refurb. I was less impressed by the quality of the beers. My London Pride and my wife's Spanish lager were both a bit off. Try the wine next time.

Great addition to Coleford town centre. Stylish pub with good beers and friendly staff

200 years old but unfortunately it's toilet facilities match its age. The ladies was out of order and there is only one toilet for the men.
