Would give 0 stars if I could absolutely shocking I booked an appointment and waited 5 weeks for it 1st appointment got cancelled, had to wait for another week that one got cancelled, again had to wait another week, guess what that one got cancelled aswell they then tried telling me I had to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment! Very poor have got my deposit back and told them where to go
Poor service, always cancelling appointments and making you turn up for appintmenst then saying you don't have one.
And, every time I go to this dentist I am ill for days afterwards, every time.
Something seriously not right about that place!
I have had a phobia of dentists since a bad experience years ago I broke my front tooth New Year's Eve didn't have a dentist every where was a 5/6 month wait until I rang ocean dentist .. They fitted me in straight away and started my treatment immediately... Dennis my dentist is great so calm and explains everything beforehand .. I have been so impressed with the treatment I'm receiving and finally get my new tooth in on Thursday and actually looking forward to going there!!!! The receptionists are lovely very friendly and helpful this is the first time I have felt comfortable about going to the dentist .. Will be using these forever from now on !!

Had a surfboard accident in 2009 which left my tooth cracked, I had various emergency treatments on it but when the crack got worse I saw a dentist here in 2013, I paid for my treatment.
They root canal and put crown on, I've been in agony since. They have "no details of me ever being registered there. How convenient!!!
The crown is terrible, it's trapped in an infection that I keep having antibiotics for, the lymph node under that area is always excessively swollen, the gum has gone black around the crown and a recent x-ray shows the dentist left root and what appears to be gauze in !!! I'm now needed to have a full extraction at my own cost.
My daughter 12yrs had a tooth extraction done and dentist left a piece of the root inside. He didn't even make a referral for it to be removed or emailed my daughter's orthodontic - who were very unhappy when I told them what had happened as this will interfere in the future with her braces.
A long time ago I had a wisdom tooth extraction there too and Dentist guy said to raise my hand if its too painful- I raised my hand as the anaesthetic didn't fully numb my tooth...but Dentist guy didn't stop...he continued and i felt like the pain going to my head i was passing out. 15yrs later It still scares me to go to the dentist because of that awful experience.
I have NEVER had an issue going to Ocean Dental. I followed my dentist that I have had for over 20 years here, and had another dentist when my own dentist was away when I had a filling fall out and he was excellent as well. And my hygienist is very personable, most accommodating and does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I will continue going here even though it is now a bit of a distance from where I live.
I was very sacred after reading the bad reviews but still I tried. Very good dentist and very satisfying work. I done root canal which gone very well. Very helpful people. Thank you very much
This place is great, granted I am a new patient and have only been twice but they are amazing. I am terrified of dentists but my dentist is absolutely lovely, I went to Ocean after chipping my tooth and I needed a root canal. As it was there first time seeing me I couldn't start my root canal straight away but she took some x rays and gave me a filing in another tooth and it didn't hurt a bit not even afterwards. I went for my first root canal appointment today and I was really scared about it but she put me at ease and after the two injections I did not feel any pain what's so ever! Afterwards ! took some Ibuprofen and haven't been in any sort of pain ( I was even able to eat a cheeky Chinese takeaway :D). Long story short I love this dentistry and I will continue to stay here and I am also now not worried about my second root canal appointment. Thank you Ocean Dentistry oh and my dentist and her assistant too :) x
