Terrible experience. The mechanic was abrupt and rude.
So there was a noise coming from underneath my car. I checked it out myself and found a missing nut causing the noise. I told the mechanic the issue and mentioned that I had already seen the problem. He didn't even bother to look underneath. Jumps to saying it's some exhaust problem, to squeeze more cash out of me. When I questioned him, he hits me with ' I'm the mechanic ' and walks off!
Total lack of professionalism!
So I head over to Formula One Garage. They sort it out tighten everything up for just £35, no more noise.
I will not ever use this place again. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Took my car in for an MOT and to see if they could fix a specific issue that a main dealership had quoted me a ridiculous sum to fix. Super fast turnaround and fixed my issue at an incredibly reasonable rate. It was my first time using this garage based on other positive feedback and reviews. They now have a new loyal customer that will not go anywhere else.
Lots of old men smoking weed and canabis outside on the bench. Not a friendly welcoming place, the smell of drugs as me and my daughter walked near the garage was very strong. We was about to book my car in, but when i smelt the drugs and saw all the men sitting on the bench, ( which is owned by the garage ) we left. I spoke to a nice man with a white truck who lives along the road, he said that its '' known locally' that men smoke drugs outside the garage at oaten hill mews garage.
Took my car here to fix an issue and would definitely use this garage from now on. Friendly and professional staff. No overpriced. Really happy with the service. Highly recommended.
