Guy serving needs some customer service training. Rude. Pointed at track and trace book and said "sign the book". No please or thanks. Pointed to table. Didn't bother to speak this time. We didn't know they served only breakfast till 11.30 (it was 11.35) so ordered a bacon and a scrambled egg roll. Only one roll left! Husband said he would have his bacon on white bread. What came was a bacon roll and scrambled egg on brown seeded bread. Ate only the egg which was tasty enough. Bacon was nice too.
One and only visit.
Really disappointed. Had soup, that wasn't cooked properly and had lots of hard split peas. Artisan bread was fresh out the packet! I expected a crusty bread or homemade bread. I have no problem with ordinary bread if it's stated on menu. I would have said to waiter but he was so grumpy.
We were initially dissapointed by the lack of a warm welcome by the guy serving and i didn't like the way we were just abandoned at a table in the middle of the cafe with hardly a word .
On the upside the food that came from the kitchen was nothing short off fantastic ,the portion size was generous and i would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants tasty homemade food..
Amazing food! Lovely staff, delicious side salads & cosy fire to welcome you on a cold day. Convenient car park outside too. Our new local within walking distance.
Very average coffee in a 'construction site' setting. Staff treat space like a living room... watching rugby on the TV with their backs to the customers.
5mins late meeti.g friends and quickly told kit hen closes at 3pm.Didnt need kitchen just hot water t make a coffee. He is a right HAPPY chappy !!!
Just had the most delicious afternoon tea from my grandchildren for my birthday. The quantity and quality were amazing. All delicious. Thankyou
