Now this was my first time here and I just wonder how there can be any bad reviews?
So I just asked about a very small job really as my car is all but new - gave me a date, I came back down, they were a bit stressed and asked if I could come back later on to which I replied i was going to leave it with them. They asked how I was getting back and I said Uber - the kind gent said apologies for making you come back - take my car and just come back later and it will be done!
They didn’t have to do that - charge was good - all was good. I was nice to them - they were nice to me - pretty simple I think. Good business as all my mechanicals like brake pads and all that malarkey I will be taking there now. Thanks gents - appreciated!

Called them to replace a sensor on my audi they've been very rude over the phone very bad customer relations very Sincerely I won't recommend them
Very nice folks, clearly love their Audis and I’m sure their mechanical knowledge is top-notch for engine replacements etc.
However, they work the same way Audi do. They’ll probably charge you for multiple expensive parts + labour until they fix the problem if indeed they ever do.
I had fault codes in my ABS system (checked using my vagcom) and an ESP warning light on the dash so took my car for a £50 diagnostic to this place to be told about the same code I knew about in the steering angle sensor in the ABS system. They said:
“first thing we need to do is book you in for a new steering angle sensor replacement (£500 + VAT)”. I thought this isn’t right, because I’d already replaced the steering angle sensor myself and had the same fault. Turned out it just needed calibrating! It cost me £72 incl VAT at Evolution Diagnostics and Tuning Ltd to fix, where they ACTUALLY diagnosed the problem...
Called them after to explain and all they had to say was ‘OK’.
Recently acquired a new car and upon 3 months of owning I experienced an issue with the timing chain. My usual garage was unable to fix or even definitively diagnose the fault. I had a rough idea that it was a timing issue, but was unsure. Upon calling around, most people were quoting off the cuff without seeing it themselves based on the information I wasn’t giving regarding the fault (car was taking longer than usual to turn over). The only person interested in finding the fault was Steve, who was superb and ultra honest from start to finish. Methodical, black and white, factual and precise are a few ways that I would describe Steve. Not your everyday car mechanic. After diagnosing the fault, Steve gave me a fantastic price to fix it and the car has been right as rain ever since. I cannot thank him enough for his expertise, which is exactly what I was looking for when trying to allocate the job to the right person. The last thing I wanted was to pay for numerous parts to be replaced due to a mechanics incompetence, and Steve made sure the fault was exactly what we believed it to be before starting any work. The diagnosis took longer than I expected, but I’m glad he was so thorough to ensure the correct work was done. I live in Leicester but will certainly be going back to Steve in the future for any and all work required on my car. Cannot recommend enough if you want a true professional to work on your car.
Really great garage. I took my Audi in for an inspection service and brake fluid change, which saved me around £110 compared to a main Audi dealer. All service work and parts follow Audi's recommendations, and they also update Audi's erWin system so that everything is official. It's basically like taking your Audi to an Audi dealer, but without the ridiculous costs attached. On top of this, my car felt noticeably more responsive and smoother to drive after the service, whereas it never felt any different when Audi serviced it. These guys seem to know what they're doing, plus they're extremely friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending them!
Great customer service, very friendly and couldn't do more to help. A courtesy was offered for the duration of the repair which was very handy (although in the end unnecessary).
The team have excellent knowledge when it comes to VW \ Skoda engines and I would highly recommend...
