Food is very very good. The service is quite slow but I guess because everything is cooked to order which makes it all super fresh. Definitely recommend.
This was a bonus! We intended going to another chippy in North Walsham with really good reviews and closer to where we are staying, but for some reason they don't open on Friday! So tried here instead and glad we did
All cooked to order, really good fish and equally fresh chips. Obviously popular as queues were out of the door. Portions are large- a small cod n chips each was more than adequate. All the good reviews seem to be well deserved
Our food was good, just too greasy. The roof of our mouths were coated, which wasn't nice & kept repeating all night. Checked rating before choosing so were disappointed, to say the least.
It was a Friday evening, the queue was out of the door. You don't need to say more to find out the good fish & chip shops. Very busy but the batter is light, the chips are not greasy and the portions provide very good value for money

Large chips is massive, chips are well cooked, with a flavour . Curry sauce, home made is the best I've had in years.
Battered cod ..£5.50 small ...so much flavour, little grease and crispy , light batter. Fantastic.
I can not praise this chip shop enough. I live 9 miles from the shop, but it's 9 miles worth travelling .
Well cooked fish, decent chips and an absolute A grade curry sauce. We had regular size fish, and it was a very generous portion. You'd be hard pressed to find better value and quality.
It's the best fish and chip shop in North walsham, the portion sizes are brilliant and the staff are very friendly, you can't visit North walsham without visiting this chip shop on Stanley Road.
Banging Fish and Chips. Highly recommend this chippy for those wanting a creamy fish and chips.
