Very interesting construction which has been built in 18th century by the Newburgh family.
As it is located on the hill, you will get fantastic views of the valleys.
The path, which will take you to the folly is easy manageable.
Lots of other pathes to choose from for a lovely walks.

Awesome piece of history and fantastic views all around. Bit of a climb but well worth it! Lots of woods and footpaths all around so lots of fab walks to do.
I think these historical places should be visited wherever possible. It's not a difficult climb. The folly is very tall and looks like it has been repaired several times. The view down to the sea is great on a clear day. You can see all the way from Bognor to Littlehampton. We carried on in a loop back to Slindon village and lunch at the Forge, a little National Trust shop.
Definitely wear wellies if you are coming up here in November 2023 ☔ lovely views and so peaceful. It's beautiful in the woods at the top when all the bluebells are out in spring too.
Awesome little gem. A bit of a walk but worth the uphill hike.... Great views
100% worth a visit. The walk is incredible, along country roads and views a plenty. When you get to the top my word what a view! Slindon is close by but if you prefer a longer stroll it's manageable from bluebells wood.
Nore Folly may not be the most beautiful of structures but it's a nice walk up to it and the views of the countryside are good. The folly was built in the 18th century for the Countess of Newburgh. It was reputedly a copy of an Italian archway she had seen in a picture. The Countess used to take tea with her guests up here and later it was used as a shooting lodge. It is now maintained by the National Trust.
Nice walk up the hill, good views from the top!
