Absolutely one of the best dentists in London. Dr. Asma understands her craft and actually listens to patients, unlike other dentists who run the dentistry like a for-profit business
She helped me avoid getting fillings for dental pain and pointed out that it was an ENT issue instead. Saved me money and having unnecessary holes in my teeth which was recommended by a different dentist.
Definitely worth the 1hr travel it takes me!
The standards at this practice have DROPPED DRAMATICALLY since being taken over by this dentist. I have been coming to this practice all my life and since it had been taken over have had nothing but a bad experience. The dental hygienist herself has a VERY bad attitude when talking to people; doesn’t even give warning when injecting them. Also likes to go back on her word as to what was agreed before treatment and when it comes to payments after treatment.
They have a new receptionist that has no people skills/ telephone skills no general customer service skills what so ever and is very rude and abrupt with people.
After 20 years of constantly using the same practice I now have to find another.
I had a hygienist appointment here and it was very poor - i had to get another one a few weeks later to actually move the minimal staining i had (which I highly recommend - SmileDent on Green Lanes). i also had a general check up (7 months after my last one with another dentist who had left from their dentist) and the dentist said i needed 7 fillings!!! - this was madness as i look after my teeth really well, to the point of obsession and in just 7 months seemed impossible. i went back to my old dentist for a second opinion and they said my teeth were in great condition and needed no fillings. they said the toothpaste the other dentist had prescribed me for the fillings i supposedly needed is for people with severe decay and that she was shocked they had given it to me.
before this i had no problem with the man who had left but as the lady i had was apparently their only dentist i definitely do not recommend unless you want your teeth drilled into for no reason!
Unfortunately I have not had a good experience with the dentist here.
I basically wanted white filling on NHS but they only offer amalgam, which is in my country prohibited due to it is cancerous.
So obviously I did not want it.
They did a temporary filling and then a composite filling.
Twice my injections were missed, on the first filling and on the second filling which means they did not work and it was very painful as how it was done.
Now after the second filling my tooth is even more sensitive than it was before, literally I can not chew on that side.
I also asked my other tooth to be filled and the dentist said that tooth is completely fine on the other side missing the filling. That was not true as I can feel where it was and I remembered well.
Thank God she did not touch the other side.
Now I am seeing a private dentist to fix the problems which were caused here.
I rather pay private than to receive discounted or free treatment by an NHS dentist and you can even loose your tooth.
Try private! It's worth it! It is not as expensive as going on holiday.
I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years as I'm terrified of them; (the treatments, not the dentists themselves, I might add).
When a piece of my filling/tooth came off, I made an appointment and explained my fears to them.
They were super understanding and helped calm me down by just assessing of what needed doing. Luckily, only a couple of minor things and the next appointment took literally just under half an hour and I was out again.
I can't recommend this practice highly enough, especially if you're a nervous patient. This team has restored my trust in dentists and I'm so glad I can go back to my 6-months intervals of check ups.
PS: they are good huggers, too. :-)

I have attended this surgery for over 10 years. I am generally pleased with their treatment and have had positive experiences here. I have most recently been seen by Dr Umair who has consistently been informative and friendly. Most recently, I was given clear advice on how to maintain my dental health. I was, however, disappointed to find that I was not able to have a dental clean as usual without booking a separate, paid for appointment due to COVID 19 restrictions. I was given a quick manual clean instead of using the electronic tools.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Called to make appointment in extreme pain as lost filling on front tooth.
Was given appointment a week later, where composite bonding was used to fix it. The filling was higher than the gum line, and literally popped off the next day. Again called the surgery in pain, explaining couldn't eat or drink, or breath without extreme pain.
Was told I'd be called back. I wasn't.
I called a further 3 times the following day to try to get emergency appointment. Was told all emergency appointments were taken that morning, even tho I had phoned the previous day .
In my opinion as a dental nurse, the job was a quick one, and due to that it came off so easily. And with no care to fix the error I would advise to avoid.
Very upsetting that this is professional health care :(
In reply to you, my new dentist had to do root canal treatment onthe tooth that you didn't even bother to x-ray!! Even after me telling you how much pain I was in!
. Dr Umair Quresh was greatest Doctor, I had in.my Entire life. Since I arrived in England I have struggling with my teeth and I have gone through so.many doctor and I never satisfied with there service and Finally found the best doctor and I will stick with with until I death and I would highly recommend him with confident. Thank you doctor for saving my wisdom tooth and bringing back my smile.????????????????????????????
