Best Fish and Chip shop within 2 minutes walk of Skipton town Centre. The Special fish is huge!

Just moved to the area and decided to try out this chippy following recommendations. It did not disappoint. The staff are lovely and the fish and chips are delicious! Great price and will definitely be going again!

Absolutely the best place in the area to get from. All gooded fresh as they ask how many when you walk in. Not oiley or greasy . Super grub

Had the best fish supper tonight from Newmarket Fisheries.

We ordered haddock, which was cooked to order on entry and absolutely delicious, chips and free batter scraps 'yum' with peas and curry sauce. The staff are friendly and welcoming and advised us that unfortunately next week they would be closed and reopening the following week. This is without doubt the best fish and chips we have had the pleasure to eat and on a par with our last trip to the renowned Whitby chippies 5+ years ago, perfect portions and lovingly cooked, how fish and chips should be. 100% recommend you pay Newmarket Fisheries a visit the next time you are in Skipton.

First visit and certainly won't be the last. Ordered haddock and chips, battered haggis and chips, all cooked fresh to order. Staff so pleasant and helpful, even suggesting that 2 large portions of chips might be too much, but, we were starving and demolished everything.
