Friendly Staff and helpful. Food served was good. Quality hot food served. Adequate space to sit outside. Scenic View near to the cafe is benefit to the people who can't walk long distance... Nice atmosphere around the place...
After a lovely 5 mile walk yesterday with my border terrier I ordered a coffee and burger here. I asked if I could have some water for the empty stainless steel bowl for my thirsty dog. Refused. On h&s grounds I was told triumphantly. "You need to walk 50 yards down to the toilets." Could I have a glass of water then? "No. You need to walk down to the toilets!" Honestly. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. And it did not improve the burger when it eventually came!
Don't seem to have any vegan options except chips... In 2023 to not have any vegan specific options at such a busy cafe is very disappointing
EDIT: Chips are cooked in the same frier as the meat.
Covid system in place . Limited success people disregarding social distancing. Toilets closed but hasn't stopped people go round the back place stinks and used tissues everywhere. Litter all over the place carpark rammed on the Saturday I went

Food is always good, wait times aren’t too bad & plenty of parking.
Fantastic food and drinks there and friendly members of staff that work there whith a great veiew of the surrey hills
Lovely spot for coffee, tea and cakes. Not sure why people give negative feedback to the cafe because toilets are out of action and rubbish is left everywhere. That's down to the people visiting Newlands Corner. Leave no trace is what everyone should do. Keep a rubbish bag in your vehicles and take the litter with you.
