This is another place where standards have slipped. They were great (once upon a time), but now seems like someone else is doing the cooking and their hygene rating is only 2 star. There is no safety issue according to the report but I still think I takeaway is a nice area like this should be doing much better than a 2. Sort it out Neway if you want your customers back. We used to spend quite a lot in this place on weekends.
First time ordering tonight, food looked fresh very happy at that, but taste was ZERO. Thought i had COVID so had to do a test came back negative, just plain no flavour at all on both meals. Unfortunately wont be ordering again.
This is the second time we have used Neway and found it's service and quality of food to be excellent. Food had deteriorated at the last take away we used so tried Neway after recommendation. Not only is the food of good quality the portions are much bigger than our previous supplier at the same price. Highly recommended

I’ve not ordered from here for a long time- ordered 2 dishes that came to £16- there was enough food to feed 3 people and it was very, very tasty
Had the set meal D for 5 in May 2023. It was excellent. I’d even go as far as saying that it’s the best Chinese meal I’ve had from a takeaway. We’re not from the area and were here visiting family. Ordered over the counter, was told it’d be ready in about half an hour. Nipped to The Bod micropub over the road for a pint of Plum Porter. True enough, pager goes off about 25 mins later. Took food home, all fresh and hot. The set meal we had had a few items I’d never tried before including the mince pork & lettuce starter. I’d never have picked it but I’m so glad we had it - game changer of Chinese starters for me. Also, the king prawn in yellow bean sauce. Very different, prawns cooked perfectly - top notch. Also, from the set meal for 5, we have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow or for the freezer. Excellent all round. Would recommend *****
Only live 5 minutes walk home, Im disappointed that the food was virtually cold. I dont expect to have to put food in the microwave !!.
I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls but got tofu instead. Is that even food? Not walking all the way back to sort it.
Normally very good.
