We have ordered beef chow main and king prawn chow main. Beef tasted like it was heated up at least three times and prawns like they were marinated in salt. Really didn't enjoy. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.
Very friendly service and the food is good. I don't get any side effects from the food produced by New Town, which is a big plus for me. When I've eaten food from other Chinese takeaways, I often feel excessively thirsty afterwards but I don't have that problem with New Town's food.
Another thing that's different is that you can see the kitchen and watch the food being prepared while you wait.
First time ordering food. Best Chinese takeaway in town. Food was very cooked fresh and delicious. I asked extra spicy and they offered best service.
First time we have been to this Chinese - we are new to the area and this was the only Chinese we could find nearby that has Szechuan style on the menu.
The food was great - tasted fresh and was well cooked.
The Szechuan king prawn was very flavourful although a little spicier than my wife is used to.
I had a chicken curry - great tasting sauce with plenty of chicken and vegetables.
The ribs were the best we have had in a long time.
We will definitely be going there again.
Fantastic place to for a reasonably priced takeaway would highly recommend.
Also start a new trend with a portion of chips with this mans satay sauce all over them sooo good.

Fairly mixed review. Prawn toast was excellent, everything else ordered struggled to be average. All meat cooked to perfection, but flavours were bland. I can't recommend over others locally. I dare say more healthy than usual Chinese food. Seemingly little to no sugar used.
Foods not bad. Good egg fried rice and satay chicken. Shredded beef was a bit soggy rather than crispy and pancakes with the duck were rubbery and smelt odd. I've had worse, I've definitely had better, (locally).
